I currently have 12-2 electric brakes on my trailer made by axletek, Which brake assembly do you recommend the tag on the axel is lippert GAWR5200 lbs

For your 5,200 lb Lippert axles I would recommend the Dexter brake assembly part # 23-459 for the right hand side of your trailer and part # 23-458 for the left hand side.

Both these assemblies are 12 by 2 inch assemblies designed to fit the 5 bolt mounting flange you have on your axles.

The brake pads on the 12" Dexter Electric Drum Brake Kit #23-180-181 are 3/16" thick. Dexter Axle recommends replacing them once they get down to 1/16" thick.
