Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness For 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Without Factory Tow Package

Can I add trailer wiring to our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee which does not have tow package?

We do have a trailer connector for your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee without the factory tow package.
You will need to look under the rear inner bumper and should find the round trailer connector on your Jeep. You can then use part # 74682. It simply plugs into the connector you find. This will give you a 4-way and 7-way trailer connector at the rear of your Jeep. This connector comes with the mounting bracket and hardware needed. I have attached a product review video you can check out.
You will then need to take the vehicle to your dealership and have the computer flashed to activate the circuit.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
