Today we'll be reviewing part number B4292201 this is the Bestop High Rock 4X4 Hitch Mounted Tow Strap Loop. It's going to allow you to easily and conveniently attach a recovery strap. It's going to secure with the 5/8" inch diameter hitch pin and clip or lock. Those are going to be sold separately. You can refer to our website, check out some of your options. One of the ones that I would recommend is part number PC3, that's going to be your standard 5/8" inch pin and it's going to come with a clip. The loop is removable simply by un-threading this portion here.
If you un-thread this all the way you can actually detach the loop just like that. It's really simple installation, all you've got to do is place it back over the shank, line up the holes, and then re-thread in this portion here to hold the loop in place. This is designed for a 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver. This portion here is going to be the portion that slides into your hitch. You're going to push it in until you get your pin holes to line up with one another and then that's when you'll need to secure it using the hitch pin and clip or hitch pin and lock. Again those are going to be sold separately. This is going to offer a capacity of 3500 pounds.
If we take a look at a few measurements, we're going to go ahead and measure the overall length, measuring from end to end. That's going to give us a measurement of 9-1/4" of an inch. Take a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the shank, that's going to give us a measurement of 1-1/2". Measuring from the center of the hitch pin hole to the opening portion here to the end of the front of the shank, that's going to give us a measurement of right around 5" inches. The opening itself at its' widest point measuring inside to inside is going to give us an opening of 2" inches and then the actual diameter of the loop ring is going to measure 3/4" of an inch. That's going to do it for today's review of part number B4292201 this is the Bestop High Rock 4X4 Hitch Mounted Toe Strap Loop. .

Receiver Hitch Tow Strap Loop slides into the 2" receiver on HighRock 4x4 Rear Bumpers, allowing users to attach recovery straps and other equipment. Secures with a 5/8" diameter pin (sold separately).I was really surprised how fast it arrived. It is exactly what I was looking for. It works really well and is used to recover stuck vehicles. Also I can leave it in the hitch all winter as it doesn't stick out from the vehicle very far so I don’t have to worry about bumping into it when unloading cargo. It is built very well and is solid steel. The description describes it completely. Thanks again etrailer.
Used this in the pull vehicle to pull a GMC 3500 towing a 2 horse trailer out of axle deep mud -- worked as advertised...:)
