There are a couple of things to look at for your setup. Since you said you have a 6-1/2 ft bed on your 2005 Ford F-150, I assume you have a sliding hitch installed. You also said you have also maxed out your trailer arm. My guess is you are talking about your pin box on the trailer.

The first thing I recommend is that you make sure the pin box is attached to the lowest positions which would put more space between the truck bed and the trailer. If you have done that, there may be a couple of solutions to fix your issue.

You can replace your hitch with a new sliding hitch if the hitch you have has a more limited adjustment than the hitches we offer. If you have standard above-bed rails in your truck a hitch like the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider, part # C16521 may work for you. This slider hitch features 12 inches of travel front to back and the height adjustment is from 17-1/2 to 21-1/2 inches, which may be enough to give you the clearance you need.

If everything is maxed out as you said I recommend changing out the pin box on your Jayco for a Sidewinder pin box. The Sidewinder will provide 22 inches more clearance by moving the pivot point of the trailer back. If you decide on a Sidewinder pin box and you have a slider fifth wheel, you will have to lock the fifth wheel to prevent it from using the sliding feature.

If you want to let me know the make and model of the pin box you currently have on your Jayco camper, I can make a recommendation that will work for you.
