MORryde Equalizer Upgrade Kit For 35 Inch Wheelbase

Question:

Attn Kyle S. re your answer: Expert Reply: I do have an upgrade option for your 6-1/16inch long, 4inch tall Equalizer # TREQ310, and since you dont want to lower the ride height with the E-Z Flex # K71-652-00, I recommend going with an option from MORryde, as the Equa-Flex are just too long at 7-1/2. So instead I recommend the following: - MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33inch Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4inch Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR The MORryde # MR87ZR measures 6-1/2inch long and 3-1/8inch tall, so it is the closest overall to your equalizer, and fits the same 33inch axle spacing as the E-Z Flex which we know is a good replacement for your equalizer. Since it is slightly longer and a bit shorter, youll want to go with shorter shackle straps, the 2-1/4inch straps of the # MR46ZR, to help make up the difference. This will give you approximately the same ride height it may lower the trailer ever so slightly, but greatly improve the ride. will this combo work on a 35 inch wheel base without much ride height loss?

The MORryde # MR87ZR are 6-1/2" wide from bolt hole to bolt hole so won't be wide enough for a 35 inch wheelbase; instead, for that wheelbase you will need the following:

- MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers # MR27ZR

These are 8" from bolt hole to bolt hole and designed specifically for 35" wheelbases. These are 3-1/2" tall, so your ride height will depend on what your current equalizer sits at; so long as it is similar, the difference will honestly be negligible. You can still use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR.
