Adapter Needed to Clear Bumper of 1995 Cadillac Seville SLS
Question:
Hello, I have a 1995 Cadillac Seville sls. I have found the receiver hitch I need, but I will also need a 1.25 in to 2 in receiver adapter that also will raise/clear the 2 in adapter orifice around the rear bumper. In other words, the adapter must clear the rear bumper without damaging it. I also want it to look nice! I want to install a rear cargo carrier. I am more than willing to purchase the entire package from you. Thank you for your assistance.

I'm not completely understanding why you're needing an adapter, and why it'd need to reach around the bumper. Which hitch are you using? I'd recommend using the Curt Class II receiver hitch, part # C12054.
I'd recommend simply using a cargo carrier that's designed for a 1-1/4 inch receiver like the 20x48 Curt cargo carrier, part # C18110. Using an adapter will lower the tongue weight capacity (maximum amount of downward force that can be safely applied to hitch) by half. You'll avoid this by eliminating the adapter. If you were wanting to use the adapter to gain additional ground clearance, the # 6500 cargo carrier has an angled shank that provides 3 inches of additional height.
