Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2011 Lexus RX450H without Tow Package
Question:
Trying desperately to get power to my 4 pin plug. The owners manual even says the fuse will power these wires. The fuses are intact in the engine compartment and even replaced them with new just in case. Still no power! Going nucking futs! Bought the Curt adapter guaranteed to work with this to convert to the trailers lighting system. I tested the Lexus outlet near rear bumper with a power tester, no power. There is another plug at rear tied to the hitch itself. It is a red and black male plug. there is power to this one. However, no such adapter! This is crazy! Called Lexus dealer, they are unaware of anything that needs programmingfoot as the directions included says to resort to if the adapter doesnt work...Please help!

Sounds like your 2011 Lexus RX450H does not have the tow package so there is a missing harness needed to activate the 4-way wiring.
Because of that you would want the Tow Ready Wiring harness part # 118255 that you referenced as it comes with the converter harness needed and will activate the 4-way wiring port.
