Will CE Smith 40-Inch Post-Style Guide-On Work with Boston Whaler Montauk
Question:
Have these been ordered for a whaler classic montauk would they be tall enough to do the intended job? I have a galvanized trailrite trailer, mounting will not be an issue, height appropriateness is my only question. If too short which PVC guide posts would you recommend for the montauk? 60 inch is too tall. Thank you.

The PVC pipes included with the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-On # CE27620 measure 40-inches. These 2-inch diameter pipes can be cut to size if required, or replaced with locally-sourced pipes of the length you prefer.
I have no confirmation that this particular kit has been used with your same boat and trailer, but since this is a general-application product its exact installation will to a great degree be determined by the user's preferences.
