Can Post Style Guide Ons Be Used on the Front of a Boat Trailer

Question:

2007 Dorsey tandem axel trailer. Could I use these post toward the front of the trailer? I have posts at the rear but feel it would help a great deal in windy weather to trailer if I had these as additional guides.

Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers, like # CE27646 are designed to help you load your boat onto your trailer. Because the rear of the trailer is backed into the water, it makes it really hard to see if you're loading it straight onto the trailer. The top portion of the Guide-Ons that is above the water give you a visual reference, making it easier to line up your boat with your trailer.

That being said, if you would like to add a second set to the front of your trailer, there is no reason why you couldn't do it. I attached a review/photo from another one of our customers that had success installing two sets on their pontoon boat trailer. They used the 40 inch version of the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons, # CE27620, which may be all you need for the front.
