Replacement 15 Inch Radial Tire For Travel Trailer

Question:

Im trying to buy tires for an old 1976 25foot Holidair Travel Trailer. The tires on it now maybe original. The size states F78-15st, but the wheel measures 16. The wheel are original and have hub caps. What size tire do I buy?

The tire you have is a 15 inch tire and ST denotes it is a 'Special Trailer', meant to be used on boat or utility trailers.

The tire I recommend for your travel trailer is part # AM10245. This tire is the Karrier ST205/75R15. This would be the modern equivalent to your tire size. This is a Load Range D radial ply tire and has a maximum load capacity of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi.

When measuring a wheel, you want to measure from the bead seat to bead seat, and not the overall diameter of the wheel.
