The Club Regular utility lock provides strong locking protection for a wide variety of items at your home, worksite, campsite, farm, or business. It can be adjusted in length for a snug fit around your gear. Chromoly steel construction resists break-off attempts while also making the lock light enough to carry from point A to point B.
Locks Motorcycles and Other Mid-Size Equipment
This mid-size utility lock is a great option for securing most motorcycle and dirt bike wheels to fixed objects. It stores in your bike's saddle bag, tank bag, trunk bag or in your backpack. Have peace of mind that your bike is secure while making pit stops on your next ride. Plus, the vinyl coating is weather resistant and it won't damage your motorcycle.
Even objects without fixed anchor points, such as door handles and gates, can be secured with this lock.
The mid-size utility lock works well for securing gear to your trailer and anchoring down gear stowed on roof racks. It's also great for securing small-to-mid-size equipment such as bar-be-que grills, patio furniture, power tools, ladders, and more.
The utility lock adjusts in 1/4" increments so that you can cinch your gear tightly with little extra space between items. Eliminating this extra space, also referred to as dead space, reduces the chance of thieves being able to pry apart the lock.
To install, unlock The Club Regular utility lock and separate the top and bottom portions. Then fit the lock sections around the item you want to secure and a stationary object and slide the ends of the sections into one another. The utility lock will automatically lock into place. To unlock, simply use one of the 4 provided keys.
The regular utility lock has a lock housing that is constructed with triangular steel gussets. This reinforces the overall strength of the lock, making it less vulnerable to break-off attempts.
This chromoly steel lock is stronger than ordinary steel locks. It can withstand over 1,500 lbs of pressure as well as break-off attempts by sawing, hammering, prying, and freezing. Chromoly steel is also lightweight, so it's easy to carry.
The lock is coated in durable vinyl for protection from the weather, rust, and normal wear and tear, making it ideal for outdoor use. The vinyl coating also prevents gear from getting scratched and scraped.
Rubber boots, or corrugated tubing, surround the steel locking shafts. The boots expand to keep the shafts covered when the lock is adjusted to be longer. Because the steel shafts are protected from the elements by the boots, there is less potential for rust and corrosion.

Today were going to be taking a look at the Club Utility Lock in size regular. Part number WIUTL810. This utility lock is great for securing ladders and scaffolding, gates and patio furniture, and has many other applications. This utility lock is made of a tough chrome alloy steel construction that withstands over 1,500 pounds of pressure. It also is fully adjustable to eliminate the dead spaces where thieves can use tools to break the locks. What the dead space is, is if, for example, if youre securing something to a fence post and there is kind of this area of open space. What they call dead space, is that space that will allow thieves to get crowbars or saws, or any other tools used to break apart the lock. The lock adjusts from 8 inches to 11 inches. Here on the actual lock itself, there is this triangular steel gusset on the side of this housing, which is going to, again, prevent thieves from prying the lock off of the housing. It has a durable, yellow vinyl coating.
Basically, like a rubber coating thats going to protect any of your items or cargo from getting scratched from the lock. These rubber boots, theyre used to pretty much cover-up this exposed metal here, and prevent any debris or water from leaking in and corroding the inside here. Another neat thing about this utility lock, it is self-locking. What that means is you only need the key to unlock it. Well kind of give you a short demonstration here. With it unlocked, go ahead and put it back in locked position and remove the key, and its unlocked. When you put it in, you can see these grooves here.
These grooves here are going to catch on the inside of the lock. With the self-locking technology, you just push it in and allow those grooves to catch, and then, again, you can still adjust it. Those grooves have caught inside that locking mechanism, which allows for this self-locking feature. Now well go ahead and go over a couple uses. Here we have our utility trailer and were just going to be locking our generator to our utility trailer. If were heading up to the work site, or heading to the farm, if we make any pit stops on the way, we just want to make sure that our expensive gear is secured. What were going to do is just use the key and unlock it, and then separate the two pieces. Remove the key, and then well just take the short piece to go around the frame of the generator.
Then well take the thicker piece with the openings, which the exposed metal is going to go into the tubes. Then, again with the keys removed, that self-locking technology will just allow us to simply clamp it in place. Another great use is if youre trying to secure a gate at your business or establishment, or maybe if you have a gate at your farm or property. Here we have two double doors, in which well go ahead and separate the two pieces of the utility lock. Swing the one small piece around the two handles, and then with the self-locking mechanism, well lock the lock, remove the key, and insert the posts into the holes of the lock, and clamp it down. Now with all of our stuff locked and secured using the Club Utility lock, in the regular size, that will complete todays review of part number WIUTL810. .

I'm using the club bike lock on my gate it works great and I love that I can have new key's made many other locks you can not have the keys cut in the New York.
