The Club XL utility lock provides strong locking protection for a wide variety of items at your home, worksite, campsite, farm, or business. It can be adjusted in length for a snug fit around your gear. Chromoly steel construction resists break-off attempts while also making the lock light enough to carry from point A to point B.
This extra-large lock is perfect for securing oversized, bulky, or odd-shaped equipment to fixed objects. It works well for securing trailer and roof rack cargo; ATVs; scaffolding; lawn, garden, camping, farming, and construction equipment; generators; and more. Plus, the vinyl coating is weather resistant and it won't damage your equipment.
The utility lock adjusts in 1/4" increments so that you can cinch your gear tightly with little extra space between items. Eliminating this extra space, also referred to as dead space, reduces the chance of thieves being able to pry apart the lock.
To install, unlock The Club XL and separate the top and bottom portions. Then fit the lock sections around the item you want to secure and a stationary object and slide the ends of the sections into one another. The utility lock will automatically lock into place. To unlock, simply use one of the 4 provided keys.
The XL utility lock has a lock housing that is constructed with triangular steel gussets. This reinforces the overall strength of the lock, making it less vulnerable to break-off attempts.
This chromoly steel lock is stronger than ordinary steel locks. It can withstand over 1,500 lbs of pressure as well as break-off attempts by sawing, hammering, prying, and freezing. Chromoly steel is also lightweight, so it's easy to carry.
The lock is coated in durable vinyl for protection from the weather, rust, and normal wear and tear, making it ideal for outdoor use. The vinyl coating also prevents gear from getting scratched and scraped.
Rubber boots, or corrugated tubing, surround the steel locking shafts. The boots expand to keep the shafts covered when the lock is adjusted to be longer. Because the steel shafts are protected from the elements by the boots, there is less potential for rust and corrosion.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the extra large club utility lock, part number WIUTL800. This utility lock is great for securing ladders, scaffolding, gates and patio furniture, garden tools or power tools and has many other applications. This utility lock is made of a tough chrome alloy steel construction that withstands over 1,500 pounds of pressure. There's a triangular steel gusset on the side of the lock housing that's going to prevent pipes from being used to pry the lock off. Because it's adjustable, it allows you to eliminate those dead spaces and prevent thieves from getting crowbars or saws in there to take your items. There's a durable vinyl coating that pretty much surrounds the entire lock and with this final coating, it's just going to help protect any materials that you do want scratched or damaged, valuables such as lining lawnmower, finderwells 00:58 or any other type of materials that can be easy scratched. There's this nice rubber boots that go over the exposed part of the metal so when you're locking it in place, these rubber boots are going to help prevent rain and stuff like that from getting in there internally causing any corrosion. It's self locking. What that means is you only need the key to unlock it.
For example, with it unlocked, you'll just simply need to push it in and then it's locked. There's these little grooves here which is going to help keep the lock in place and when you have it all pushed in place, you will just use the key to unlock it. This utility lock extends from 13 3/4 inches to 20 1/4 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you a couple of applications. Here we have this utility trailer and we got a nice heavy duty generator. You want to make sure that your essentials are secured so what we'll do, we'll unlock it, separate the two pieces.
I'm going to insert one aroudn the frame of the generator and I'll slide this piece on, making sure it's locked and I can remove the key. You hear those clicks being engaged. Again, that is the self locking technology. We'll just close it shut. Another potential use for this utility lock is here we have this forklift. This forklift actually sits under a car port here in our parking lot and we don't want our propane tank to get taken.
What we'll do is we'll again just use the keys to unlock it and separate the two pieces. What we'll do is we'll just take the small piece to go around the tank and the frame of the forklift and then we insert the two ends into the ends of the lock. Here we go. Now, with all our stuff locked in and secure, that will complete today's review of the club utility lock in the extra large size, part number WIUTL800. .

For my use they were just what I needed to secure our bikes to the cargo carrier. Heavy duty, made strong.
Perfect for securely locking my bike to my rack (I don't trust the cable locks). This lock is long enough to lock my wheel and frame to my Thule load bars.
Exactly what I was looking for and is as described. Able to lock various things up to our travel trailer as we travel the US.
I bought Two a year ago .. Here you don't have to register a trailer under 12ft..
so trailer theft is big and getting it back is unlikely .. this lock through the rim around the left springs and I know my trailer is still going to be in my driveway when I get home. .. We do a lot of kayak camping and I leave the car and trailer parked for days in the backcountry and I put both locks in each tire with a small hitch lock and my trailer is still attached to my car when we get back.. worth the money .. also after being under months of heavy snow it unlocked and opened right up .. great product..
