Excellent lights for the money. Little bit of surface rust starting on the hardware but otherwise fine. Use them pretty regularly on my machine

by:

Well they look good as replacements for the lower head lights on a polaris sportsman. HAvent been used much so I need more time for an honest review..much brighter to look at then I thought they would be, so I wouldn't recommend driving against traffic with them on. Note, the top section of the rack needed to be shimmerd up 1/2" for lights to fit. etrailer is a great company to deal with, I'd buy from them again.

Great! Installed on my nephews atv a year ago. He says they are still working great.

by:

Very happy with my purchase, product arrived in a timely manner. Customer service helped me with a minor issue and had a replacement shipped same day, hassle free. E-trailer can not be beat!

by:

I used a pair of these as "docking" lights on my Class "super C" RV,since it didn't come equipped with them, and backing into dark camp sites was a little too exciting without them. They give a good spread of white light without a sharp cutoff. I have them mounted underneath the body, hanging off crossmembers and they have stood up to any gravel and road debris, and create a good deal of light around the rear wheels and down the sides of the unit. The brackets aren't the most heavy duty, but they have held adjustment over some pretty rough roads so far.

Everything from these people is top shelf.
Compair prices between here & other stores. Especialy if etrailer are on sale. I bought these lights & a light bar. The light bar a a well known store was about 130 watts. At first glance they looked same even made by same co. The other store was around $150.00 I got these on sale in June For less than $50. etrailer is 550 Watts & diff bulbs driveing & flood at same time. Major diff. Not to forget round lights have not mounted yet just hooked up on bench. Get your cutting goggles on.

by:

I put these lights on a snowmobile trailer to replace lights that were previously installed from factory. They are just used for loading or unloading snowmobiles. They work much better then the stock lights that were there.

by:

haven't installed them yet but I have seen these on other trucks and I know they are top notch.

I have bought some etrailer before and they have always been good to me fast reliable service and easy pay with PayPal.
Thanks

by:

Added them to my XR650R in place of the halogen race lights. These draw less current, easy to install and are plenty bright. For the price you can't beat them.I actually have them on separate switchs as both are too bright for oncoming traffic when on the hwy

by:

One has already stopped working but other then that, very bright

by:

Got me LED lights yesterday and they look great and for an even greater price, thanks etrailer

by:

  • Wire Gauge of MaxxTow Off-Road Lights
There isn't a formula for the wire gauge, you can simply match it up to the wire size used with this light, which is 14 gauge wire. I have added a link to a video review as well of the MaxxTow Off-Road Lights # MT80637-2.

  • Can Vehicle Off-Road Lights be Mounted on a Kayak and Connected to 12 Volt Battery
It is possible to install driving lights, like part # MT80637-2, on a kayak with a 12-volt battery to power them. You'd just want to make sure they were installed in a way to keep water off them.

  • Recommended Fog Light Kit for a 2007 Dodge Ram
You may be able to use the MaxxTow Off-Road Lights, # MT80637-2. This is two lights with 4-1/2" inch diameter. This should be small enough to fit inside the openings on your Ram, but an issue for you might be that these lights are designed more to fit a light bar or grille guard then in a cavity on the front of a vehicle. I have included an install video for you to see if they might work for you.

  • Will 12V LED Lights Work with 6V System
Using LED lights like # MT80637-2 on a 6 Volt system may result in much dimmer LEDs but it is also possible that the LEDs will not produce any light at all. You will also dramatically shorten the lifespan of the LEDs and then there's also the potential damage caused by overheated wires from excessive amperage draw - all reasons why we do not recommend using a 12V LED light on a 6V system. Since we do not offer any 6V lights, you could technically use a 12V breakaway battery like # 3801250...

  • How Sturdy Is The Mount On The MaxxTow Off-Road Driving Lights?
The mount on the MaxxTow Off-Road Driving Lights # MT80637-2 itself is very sturdy. It is intended/designed for off-road driving conditions where the idea is durability. These lights can mount well on a snow plow as well and are often used for that application. The housing is powder coated for durability to protect the metal from the elements. .

  • Parts Needed to Install Westin Off Road Lights
Thanks for your purchase of the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-3825 for your 2017 Toyota 4Runner! In order to install the MaxxTow Off-Road Lights # MT80637-2 on the grill guard you need a power source, wiring, a switch, and some connectors. For the power source I do recommend using the Firestone Fuse Circuit Tap Kit # F2526 because it will help to protect your wiring. If you don't go this route then you'll have to place a fuse or circuit breaker on a power wire that's hooked up to...

  • How to Use the MaxxTow Lights # MT80637-2 as Reverse Lights
There's no reason you couldn't use the MaxxTow Lights # MT80637-2 as an additional reverse light on your vehicle. The number 86 pin on the relay is the keyed circuit. You would just need to tap into your reverse light circuit and run the wire to the 86 pin of the relay and the kit will turn on when your reverse lights are turned on. If you have a 7-way trailer connector on your vehicle you should have a reverse light circuit present there that you could use. Typically the center pin of...

  • How to Mount MaxxTow Off-Road Lights to RV and Jeep
You will need to figure out the fine details on your end but what I would try using are the MaxxTow Off-Road Lights # MT80637-2 along with 2 of the SeaSucker 4.5" Low Profile Vacuum Mount # SS44FR as they both are compatible with 1/4" mounting hardware. The off-road lights will be a great solution for the last 4 miles of your journey, but I would avoid using them on the highway as they will easily attract the attention of the local authorities. You shouldn't have to upgrade anything power-wise...

  • Are the MaxxTow Off-Road Lights Spot or Flood Lights
The MaxxTow Off-Road Lights part # MT80637-2 have a 30-degree projection which would classify them as a spot light whereas flood lights usually have a projection between 45-degrees and 60 degrees. If you want to get a better view of the projection while in use you can take a look at the attached review video which shows this @ 3:20.

  • How to Mount Off-Road Lights to 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon
I can definitely help you figure out how to mount a light bar on your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon, but as far as grille guards or bull bars go there are no fits on the market. If you're seeing fits on a different website then I'll need to know the brand of the guard or bar to know if we have something that fits. If you already have a roof rack on your Outback Wagon then you can use a carrier like the Yakima LoadWarrier # Y07070 with the Mounting Brackets # Y07075 so that you can install...

  • How to Add Lights to the Roof of a 2016 Jeep Patriot
I do have an option for you but a 2016 Jeep Patriot is not exactly considered to be an off-road vehicle therefore they don't make any custom mount light bar kits for it. If you wanted to add lights to your roof without having to drill into the roof itself then your best option would be to mount some pod lights on a roof basket. In order to do this you will first need a roof rack if you do not already have one. For this, I recommend the Yakima CoreBar Crossbar System part # Y00421 and part...

  • Can Westin Driving Lights, # 09-0305, be Mounted Upside Down
The MaxxTow Lights, # MT80637-2, can be mounted upside down, right side up, diagonally, side ways, horizontally, vertically, and any other configuration you can think of (within the limitations of its little mounting bracket of course). Basically, mount them how you want, where you want with the lens pointed in the correct direction for your application and they will work just fine.

  • Mounting Bracket Width of MaxxTow MT80637-2 Off Road Lamp
The existing base bracketry on your Peterson # 507-12 is 1-7/8 inch wide, while that of the MaxxTow # MT80637-2 is 1-1/8 inches. Since the old bracket is wider, you can reuse it, you'll just need to devise a way to shim out the base of the new lamp, such as using some stacked washers to take up the space differential. I've provided a photo showing the dimensions side by side. The photos aren't quite to scale, so it appears that the bracket of the MaxxTow lamp is wider than the Peterson,...

  • Will MaxxTow Off-Road Lights MT80637-2 be Brighter at 30 Volts than 10 Volts
They may be a little brighter at 30 volts than at 10 but what really matters is the amperage since lights # MT80637-2 will be drawing the same amount despite what the voltage is. And since LED lights require such little power to begin with to operate at full capacity you may not even be able to tell the difference in voltage.
