This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.It's an exact fit. I was able to install it on my own in 20 minutes. It is heavy, so be prepared to have a freind nearby because most of the struggle you'll have is threading the bolts, but my tip is to get one started under the bumper, then move on and repeat that until they're all started, then proceed to tighten it all down.
DO NOT FORGET to torque them down after tightening.
The picture I uploaded with this review shows it looks totally stock.
I absolutely recommend this hitch, eTrailer had the best price both for the hitch itself, AND for shipping.
The hitch is great, nice construction and perfect fit. All of the necessary hardware was included.

I am still happy with the hitch, what really made the difference for me was the hardware included, it really made installation easy.
Got both items in 3 days and they went on without a "hitch". The trailer connector socket is very easy to install also! They both look awesone!!

The hitch receiver that I ordered was in stock and arrived at my house quicker than I expected. Removing the old hitch and installing the new one took about half an hour. The included hardware worked perfectly.

Ive been using this hitch for about a year and it has lived up to my expectations. The safety chain holes are big enough for my chain hooks to hook in them easily. My original equipment hitch was difficult to hook them into.
After 1 year of ownership I am very happy. Does its job. Simple to set up with wrenches and came with instructions in case. They also make videos for YouTube certified mechanics. Have pulled upwards of the tow capacity rated for my truck with no issues whatsoever. Great coat of paint no cracking or surface rust yet. Quick shipping, e trailer takes their business seriously.
Probably one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my truck aside from the add-on reverse/rear camera kit that I also purchased here. Can’t say enough good things about this company. If I need something else I will come here first. 11/10
The class 3 hitch is very nice. Beautiful welds and finish. Very solid and heavy duty. I'm really happy with the hitch.
The issue I had was I'm a DIY'er, emphasis on the "Y". So when it came time to install, I found myself under the truck, holding he hitch up with my knees as I fumbled around trying to get a new bolt into the welded on nut. I ended up using the original bolts to secure the hitch, then swapped the old bolts out for the new one by one.
The reason this worked was a chamfer on the old bolt. Made it very easy to find the threads and start the bolt. Attached is a picture. Overall the bolt looks pretty good after being under the truck for 15 years.
As I said the hitch itself is well made and I am very satisfied with what I bought. Maybe you can consider a slightly different bolt.

Bolted up just fine.
One improvement would be a predrilled spot to attach plate for wire harness.

After a year, pulling a friend or two out of the snow or towing with in limit, Ive been happy with it. When I first called and ordered it they it would fit. Could not have lined up better. Two man job but a good investment. Would order again in the future.

Works great! No issues at all 1 year later. Great product, great company.
Well I was really happy with the quality and workmanship but I had to use a cutting torch and welder to move the bumper support bracket it was .5 “ off center front to back.
Installed on an ‘07 Silverado - 2WD, 4.3L, V6. Handles my boat & trailer great! Put it to the ultimate test on an 8hr. move to TN, pullin my brother’s fully loaded, 7.5’ x 16’ dual axle trailer - No problems!
we needed to replace the factory hitch because of rust in the tube.
this hitch does not have as many mounting points as the stock hitch
This is a great piece of equipment. I sits a little higher than the orgional, but I already have a drop down hitch. Fits perfectly, only took about 1.5 hours from start to finish.

Works great! I haul a lot of crap with this trailer receiver and hasn't failed me yet!
The hitch for my 2007 Chevy Silverado arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were very clear, informative and easy to understand. However, I happen to have a triple by-pass, four stents, an aorta pig valve, a pacemaker, and have been cautioned against over-exertion, so I opted to let my mechanic handle the actual installation. The end result looks Great! I plan to mount a wheelchair lift on it. The wheelchair and carrier together weigh in at 430 lbs. The hitch is rated to handle a maximum tongue weight 500 lbs., so I think I'll be safe if I don't hit the speed bumps too hard.
Shipped on time, product fit as expected and came with necessary hardware. Very simple install.
Very easy install hardest part was removing the spare tire did it by myself and I'm 70 years old. No issues with this receiver.

So far so good no problems great finish
Was delivered quickly. Easy ordering and good customer service when I called. The hitch fit as described.
However, 4 of the six bolts supplied did not fit the attached nut on the frome as directions stated. Needed to find the correct threaded bolts witch cost me timecand delay of installing. Would have given 5 stars if bolts fit.

It is not unusual to hear that the bolts are not a fit when it comes to weld nuts in the frame. As long as the bolts are M14-2 x 40mm LG.in size then they are the correct sized bolts. With older trucks what often happens is that the bolt holes have a lot of grime and road debris build up. You will typically have to really clean them out using a cleaner like PB Blaster and a wire brush. Most of the time this will have to be done more than once. We do have a good FAQ that can help.
