Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and so we're taking a look at the replacement wiring harness for your Lippert electric coach step. So this is going to be that wiring that comes off of the step and allows you to connect it to the rest of your wiring system on your RV. So, we'll have four wires to connect. The white wire is going to go to a power switch. Yellow wire goes to a power source that's only hot when the ignition is on, so an ignition only power source there.
The brown wire goes to our door switch, and then the red wire goes to the RV battery.So, make those connections and then we'll plug in the other end to our step, and we'll be able to actually use all of those functions. So, if yours didn't already come with this switch or maybe something happened to the original, a wire got cut or damaged somewhere along the way, it is going to be that replacement part that you need to get back to using your step. Measures about 11 inches long, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the replacement wiring harness for your Lippert electric coach step.
