  • Can 7k Nev R Lube Trailer Axle be Converted to Disc Brake
I really wish we did but at this time we do not. But do you happen to know what size bearing cartridge your hubs use? Looks like we have the 8k size and 6k size but nothing on the 7k. Hopefully its' 50 mm though.

  • Cross Referencing a Dexter Hub with 70-7 Stamped On It
The only thing I found on your Dexter 70-7 is the Replacement 13" Rotor for Dexter Disc Brakes # K71-631-00 which has 70-7 stamped on it. The # K71-631-00 fits 8,000 lb. Dexter disc brake kits like the # K71-646-2, # K71-646-2-91 or # K71-646-2-90.

  • Recommended Disc Brake Upgrade for 2010 Cameo Trailer by Carriage
Your 2010 Cameo by Carriage can have the axles upgraded and disc brakes added, but you would need to contact the manufacturer to ensure your capacity would be increased because it will be based on the weakest component. We don't carry any disc brake assemblies for the 9K axles, but we do have the 8k and 10K options. I've attached an article to assist with upgrading to EOH disc brakes. My recommendation is to keep your current Dexter axles and add the Dexter Disc Brake Assembly - 12-1/4"...

  • Hub and Rotor Fit for Dexter Hub and Drum Assembly on Nev-R-Lube Axle
The Kodiak hub KHR138XL9E you referenced has been discontinued. I recommend the Dexter Disc Brake Kit - 12-1/4" Hub/Rotor - 8 on 6-1/2 - E-Coat - 8K - Nev-R-Lube # K71-646-2-91 which will fit on your Nev-R-Lube axle just like the Drum Assembly # 8-389-81UC3. If you need further recommendations, please let me know and I'd be happy to assist.
