Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Square Crossbar Roof Rack System, consisting of part number INB127. These are the square crossbars, 50" long. We'll also be using part number INTR, which are the Inno feet, for the Square Crossbars, particularly for track systems, or flush side rails. Finally, part number INTR132. This is the Custom Fit Kit for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Inno Square Bar Roof Rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bike racks, to cargo baskets, to cargo boxes.
The square bars are strong and durable, however, they will make some noise while you drive. Inno does offer several fairings that you put in front of these to cut down the wind noise and drag, which you can find on etrailer.com. The endcaps are lockable, to secure your roof rack system to your roof as well. They also help protect your actual connection plates here underneath from all the weather and elements, while you drive.Next I'd like to give you a couple of quick measurements. From the center of the roof, to the bottom of the bar is going to be about 2".
From the center to the top of the bar, is going to be about 3". It gives you enough space to fit most factory roof rack accessories through, without interfering with your roof, or making contact with your roof. Both bars combined do have a carrying capacity of 220 pounds, but you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual, to make sure your roof can withstand those weights. Now that we've got over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our front bar already installed into our flush mounted side rails, and we have our rear bar partially assembled on our table here. Here's the Inno foot pack, and the fit kit, that we're going to need to install on the other side here, as well as the keys for our endcaps, the plastic end for our square bar, and the tool that comes included with the fit kit, to install everything.First, we're going to start by inserting our leg here onto the other end of our square crossbar.
We'll remove our endcap first, using the included keys. We'll slide this end onto our square bar like so. Then we can start installing our fit kit. Next, we'll take our plastic bracket piece here, and we'll fit it underneath the top portion like so. Then we'll flip the bar, and start installing our metal brackets on the underside.
We'll take our bolts with the lock washer and flat washer. Bring them up underneath, and then take our metal brackets, making sure they're facing the proper direction. We'll just loosely install those for now. There we go. We'll repeat this on our opposite side. Our final step, before we set this onto our roof rack system, we'll put our endcap in place, just to make sure that doesn't slide off. Now we can install it. We'll set out bar in place, just being careful, because we don't want to scratch up the vehicle here. You want to make sure how it sets inside the track here, that it's in the right location. You can see how it hooks on the backside here. It grips in this little channel, and on the inside, it grips on the channel the opposite way.Next, we'll measure from center of the bar, to center of the bar, to get a crossbar spread on both spread on both sides. Then we'll measure for our crossbar overhang. Once that is even on both sides, we'll take our included tightening tool, and tighten the bolts down, which will bring those brackets up, and secure the roof rack to the flush mount side rails. Next, will take our endcaps, we'll put those in place. Now we're ready to load up our gear, and hit the road. There you have it for the Inno Square Crossbar Roof Rack System, on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

These durable feet let you mount 2 Inno square crossbars to your vehicle's factory track system, flush side rails, or fixed mounting points. Locking covers secure the system to your roof.We bought this along with the INTR102 Custom Fit Kit. We used this to mount Thule crossbars and a Thule Adventurer cargo box on a 2001 Subaru Forester. Everything fit perfectly. The Inno mounts were completely compatible with the Thule crossbars. The fast and accurate shipping helped avert a crisis before a cross country trip.
Excellent quality rack adapter. I have used Inno products for a number of years and they are just as good as Thule or Yakima and lower in price. I am using these feet with a square bar system I have had for years. Got a new vehicle with different rails and was please that there were adapters available from Inno.
these work great in the roof style of the 2007 forester. They DO NOT come with the parts needed to attach them from etrailer so read carefully to make sure they will work with your vehicle.
Fit perfectly on our 2007 Subaru Legacy Wagon w/flush mount rails. We had our doubts but put our faith in C.S. Rep. He was right (of course)!! The fit on the stock rails perfectly. My husband didn't really have trouble installing them at all. We also got the Inno Fit Kit Hooks and the Inno Square Crossbars. Just came back from vacation. They were perfect for my husband's bike. (We did have Thule rails from an earlier bike rack. They fit into the Inno system w/o a problem. Thank You ETrailer for ALL your help. We couldn't have put it all together without you knowledge. Perfect!

We are totally satisfied with the roof rack. Its perfect for our vehicle and the rep. was very helpful on the phone helping us the rack that would fit our car.
I got these to replace my OE roof racks. The square shape is perfect for Yakima Bowdown kayak racks. Solid!
The product itself seems good, but I wouldn't know yet because I do not have all of the pieces needed to install. I wish it was made a little more clear in some form of guide exactly what is needed to be able to install on my vehicle. Not to mention I ended up having to pay shipping this time since it ended up being two separate orders.

Actually, we do have a vehicle fit guide on our website. Simply input the year, make and model of vehicle. On the next screen, choose roof racks and youll see the packages that are available that include everything needed to install crossbars on your vehicle.

Had used Thule bars for years on multiple cars. Sadly found out Thule didn’t make a mount for my new Lexus GX. And I was about to throw in the towel, but found that the ”Inno” footing would work with my car and with my old Thule bars! They work great on my new car. Thank you etrailer for having the only website search engine that could recommend the parts I needed.
Cheers!
I am more than pleased by the service that I had at etrailer. I was looking for a very old roof rack for my Subaru Legacy 2007 and etrailer had it. I was suspicius about it so I wrote them and got a quick and friendly answer that confirmed the fit and availability. Delivery was quick and the tracking from etrailer website was outstanding.
This Inno rack is a sturdy, basic rack. What I like best about it:
- It actually mounts to the roof tracks on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee (with the INTR132 fit kit), instead of to hard points on the roof like many other racks.
- It lets me use my Thule bars and accessories because Inno and Thule bars are the same size.
- It was much less expensive than the other racks I looked at.
- It is pretty easy to put on and take off.
What I don't like as much:
- The locking covers that go over the towers are pretty flimsy, and look like they are on crooked even when installed correctly
- This rack is quite noisy on the Grand Cherokee, but I think that's just the nature of the rectangular bars. (But since it is easy to take off, I plan on only putting it on the car when needed).
Also, thanks to the folks at etrailer for helping me figure out what would work best for my needs!

I had been looking a very long time for a roof rack for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I wanted round or tubular crossbars, different from the “air foil” style, which were the only kind available from the factory and the many imitators. I finally found etrailer, and these fit the bill perfectly. The attachments fit the rails just like the factory model, and hold the rectangular cross bars firmly. A sturdy and solid product. And even with free shipping they arrived the morning of the second day after I ordered them, in time for the trip I was planning to take with them.
Pros: adjustability, price, sturdy construction, decent appearance.
Cons: square tubes = wind noise, must remove rubber ends to mount/dismount, be careful not to strip out the hex screws
Overall impression: A good, versatile occasional use rack if you don't want a clamp on.
Was very easy to install makes some wind noise but I knew that before I bought it.
Good fit, installation was easy.

ive used this rack adapter for a year and still have high regards although there are a few dislikes. The way the feet attach means I have to get up over the vehicle with an Allen key to install or remove. My prior adapter for raised bars always much simpler. The rack also leaves marks on the factory rails - not a deal breaker and it’s not bad but it happens due to the way they mount.
