Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - 2 Inch Lift Spacers - F2366

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the two inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. This is for a quantity of two. Now, these will allow your air springs to be installed on vehicles that have a two inch lift. And basically, the distance between your upper and lower brackets must be between 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 inches.

And the spacer itself must be the same size as your lift kit rise. This part will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the two lift spacers, all the hardware necessary for installation, nice set of installation instructions. And the lift spacer will fit axle and leaf mounted air springs. Again, the application is vehicles with a two inch lift and a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 inch measurement between the upper and lower brackets.

Now, this will not fit the Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286, but it will fit the Ride-Rite model F2286 if it's manufactured after February 1st of 2006. But that should do it for the review on the two inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs..

Won't fit the GMC 2023 LZ0 Diesel!! I had the Ride-Rites on my 2013 Tacoma, and they worked great! I recently purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with the DuraMax 3.0 Turbo diesel LZ0 engine. The air bag kit F2609 does not fit this vehicle, even though Firestones WEB site indicated it did. The problem is the upper bracket and airbag contact the exhaust pipe. After calling Firestone, the product specialist knew of this information and are now updating their WEB site. After etrailer confirmed my findings with Firestone about this issue, everything will be returned, and they too will update their WEB site too :(

I'm giving etrailer's Customer Support 5 stars, and Firestone -20 stars for not keeping their WEB site current and knowing about this issue!

After a year of use including 3 months in Alaska, these Air helper springs have worked flawlessly. They give me just enough lift to level out my truck with over 800lbs of trailer tongue weight and 500lbs in the bed. I have individual adjustments on my Ride-rites and I haven't needed to make the pressure different from side to side. I'm now considering adding an adjustable air system that can be operated from inside the truck.

by:

Worked just fine. Had to purchase because truck had rough country 3" lift, although it only had 2" blocks for rear. Spacers seemed to be great quality. Was not impressed for how long shipping took. The bags only took 2 days. And it would be nice if there was a better warning I needed spacers for my air bags. It says compatible with lifts but that was it. So when I went to install, I had to take them back off and look it up. That's when I found they made spacers. I have to add I LOVE My Firestone Air suspension. When I hooked up to trailer, truck dropped 7"s. With airbags and 45lbs of air, dropped 2"s and ride was smooth.

After a year, bags still work just as well as they did the 1st day. So far I still havent had any air leaks or blessing off. It stays where I put it. I have a half tone truck. I just hauled 1 12 ton of top soil with 60lb of air and truck rode level. Even the guy on the loader complemented suspension. Next I would like to add controls from the cab or my phone so I dont have to use the air hose every time to change it.

by:

These spacers were the reason I chose Firestone Ride Rite over ReadyAir air helper springs, which would have required removal of my overload leaf springs. With the spacers that match my rear lift block spacers, it is a very easy installation.

by:

I have a 2022 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 and these were not needed. When installed, the bags were fully compressed and didn't give the required 5.5" of travel.

by:

I just finished the installation of the air springs and spacers. All the parts were there, the instructions were easy to follow and all went well. I look forward to hooking up the fifth wheel or loading up with firewood. Thanks for the excellent service and the additional help answering my questions about the spacer kit to accommodate the lift on my truck.

by:

by:

by:

These spacers were just what I needed after I modified the suspension on my old Chevy pickup. I bagged and 4 linked the rear but it was just a little too low, using these spacers got my ride height where it needed to be.

by:

Exactly what I ordered with super fast shipping. Can't wait for my extension brackets to come in and install it on my truck

  • Can I Install Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs On 2019 Toyota Tundra With Fox 2.5 Shocks
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2445 will work fine with the Fox 2.5 Shocks installed on the 2019 Toyota Tundra Pro as confirmed by Firestone. However, if the Fox springs are installed to increase the vehicle height you may need a spacer to install the air bags. You would need to measure from the frame of your truck and the axle to know which spacer is needed. Bracket Spacing (in.) 6.5 to 7.5-inches use spacer # F2536 7.5 to 8.5-inches use spacer # F2366 8.5 to...

  • Parts Needed to Use Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags on Lifted 2011 Ford F-250
You can use the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2597 on your 2011 Ford F-250 that is lifted, but you're likely going to need to use a spacer once you've completed the installation and measured the spacing between the brackets. For example, if you've got 7-1/2" to 8-1/2" between the brackets then you'll use the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - 2" Spacers - Qty 2 # F2366. I've linked a photo that shows how to measure and which spacer you would need for the spacing that you find.

In order to install Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2609 onto your 2021 Silverado 1500 Z71, you will in fact need to use Lift Spacers 2" # F2366 as this is stated in the instructions provided with the air helper springs. I do have a list of spacers that you can choose from so you can continue to use the Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on your 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. All you need to do is measure where your current brackets mount and then add 1-1/4" since that's what it sounds like you will be adding to the back of your pickup: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2367 9-1/2" - 10-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2370 11-1/2" - 12-1/2" - Lift Spacer...

  • Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2012 Ram 2500 with 5 Inch Lift
If the lift on your 2012 Ram 2500 is a body lift where the frame is still the same distance from the axle as a stock truck then you would not have to use any spacers when installing helper springs. But if it is a suspension lift, you would need spacers equivalent to the amount of lift (or as close as possible) in this case 5 inches. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite kit # F2299 for your truck. If the truck does have a suspension lift then you would also need spacer kit # F2373 for the...

  • What Size Spacer Do I Need for a Firestone Air Bag System on a Lifted Chevy Silverado?
I would be happy to help you but there are so many different lift options its going to require you to take some measurements of your Chevy Silverado 2500's suspension. Most lift kits don't lift the same amount in the front as they do the back, so a 3-1/2" lift may only have 1"-1-1/2" of lift in the rear. The most accurate way to tell what spacer is needed is to measure. I attached a photo that shows where to measure, and the size of lift spacer needed. You'll want to make sure that your...

I recommend going with the 2 inch spacers, # F2366, if you plan on using the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. It is better to have the spacer take up more room between the bag and the frame or axle. Using a spacer that is smaller that the lift on the truck would reduce the effectiveness of the air bags. Keep in mind, these spacers will not fit Ride-Rite kits, # F2350 or # F2286. If you can tell me the year, make and model of your truck, I would be happy to make a specific recommendation...
