I purchased a 04 Silverado with the Extang button down canvas top. There were quick a few of the snaps missing. This kit was purchased to replace those snaps. Worked great, placed "tools" purchased in Vise Grip jaws and lined them up with the holes in the canvas and clamped down. Replaced all the snaps and they are still fine today.
I needed a few new snaps for my 8 year old cover and found the exact match on etrailer. I got the combo kit for the installation tool and with following the directions I was able to fix the snaps on my cover quickly. I would recommend the combo kit.

I received my package after only 3 days and it was a straight forward install. Well packaged with instructions on the clamping process for the tonneau snaps. This saved me a lot time and money. Etrailer camethrough for me again!
Got my snaps and tools. Took a couple weeks if memory serves but got the stuff.
Pretty easy to use if you have the 10 size vice grips that the tools fit (which I did).
Installed the missing snap and all appears to be well.
So far so good.
I received the product quickly and installation was a piece of cake. No issues and I am very happy with the product. The price was great as well.
Snaps are awesome. The crimping set worked great. I used my vice-grips and to adjust the crimp. I also re-crimped all the snaps on my cover. Very easy to use.

Hey George, my tonneau cover still doing great. Have had to replace a few snaps but was my fault. Now use a snap tool to release the snaps. I get lots of comments on my 1993 Chevy 1500 stepside truck and always get comments on your cover! Thanks! Greg
Here is the thing with this product, take the punch out of that plastic casing and use it on a vice, you will never get a good crimp with that plastic on there It ripped my cover. Wish I would have practiced on something else but once I figured it out the snaps were like brand new.
The kit had every thing I needed. The new snaps work better and look as good as the originals.
