I am glad to provide a review that you requested of the Erickson jetski lift sling. I have used the sling for over 10 years; more later on the purchase made one year year ago.
Our home has a saltwater beach, so we use a dolly for moving the jetski down on a boat lift to the edge of the beach, then to the water.
When not in use, the jetski is in a small boat house, resting on a bunk. We use the sling for moving the boat to the dolly, with a lift attached to a chain hoist on an I-beam trolley.
For maintaining balance, I put tape markers at the center of gravity on each side, as indicated in the photo
For occasional tips to the dealer, I use another chain winch on a boom. I move the boat on the dolly to a spot beneath the boom, then use the sling for lifting the boat onto my pickup; and of course, use the sling again for the reverse process. I might add that the dealer also uses an Erickson sling for moving jet skis in his boat yard
This device has been an absolute essential for this 85 year old owner, converting an otherwise strenuous and risky undertaking to a simple, pleasant, safe task.
Last year, in my senility, I could not find the sling, so I ordered another one. In accordance with the immutable law of cussedness, I found the old one a day or so after the new one arrived, and then forgot about it. For several obvious reasons, it's rather unlikely that I'll wear the old one out, so my question is: can I return the new one?? it's still in the original shipping container.
I think it’s going to work fine I bought another one before and it didn’t work. It seems like this was gonna work perfect. Thank you very much.

This is exactly what I needed. etrailer was able to get it to me 2 weeks quicker than Amazon Prime that cost me $$$ every year for membership. The sling seems to be well made and looks like it will last for a while. I have owned one of this brand before, had it for about 5 years until someone decided they needed it more than I did. If this one holds up like the other one did I will be very happy

After a year all I can say is get one. We have used it, our friends have used it,our repair shop has used it and everyone loves it. We sold our jetskis this spring but I didnt let the lift sling go.
We have used the sling for over a year and it has performed well. It will easily handle old 2-stroke and new skis. If you lift skis frequently then this is THE ONLY tool to have. Absolutely worth the money.
I recieved my part less than 24 hours after physically ordering it. It was packaged well and it was exactly as described. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, it was exactly as etrailer said it would be.

Great product, it does exactly what I wanted.
Great product. I don't have a jet ski but this works perfect for lifting my fiberglass truck bed cover on and off with ease. It used to be a two person job, now it's one. Works well with wood pallets.
I would highly recommend etrailer.com as they were very prompt and timely with our order. we purchased an Erickson Lift Sling from them and it arrived on our doorstep within two days. Definitely would use them again.

What are the different sizes of PWCs that you have used this for? Have you used it for the larger 3 person 4 stroke yamahas?
Worked great to lift jet ski off the trailer with a cherry picker. Just have to figure out the center of gravity location to ensure the ski stays centered and level, but not an issue. Great product and hope it lasts!
I received the PWC lift strap as scheduled. The quality is excellent. I was worried that it might not work on my Sea Doo Sport but turned out to be fine. Because of low head room at my lifting point I did roll the straps a few times around the lift bar. Using my chain hoist, I was able to lift my Sea Doo off the trailer with ease.

This sling works very well for moving my honda aquatrax on and off the trailer for maintenance and other reasons as the dual ski trailer makes it difficult. I didn't realize how nice this sling was until the I saw the one at the dealership. Very happy with the product.

Product is as described. It was well packaged. Product is very durable.
My first one lasted about 6 or seven years - best thing would be to line x the metal after the plastic gets used
Just received the product and opened it up and it looks to be well built and sturdy. If I had to suggest anything I would add some kind of indoor/outdoor carpet or similar product to protect the edge that rubs the jet ski when attaching. We are going to do that. Other wise GREAT product.

This thing is Heavy Duty. It's priced right, and still half the cost as the "Name brand".
