Can I Use A Erickson Lift Sling To Lift A Sun Dolphin Pro 120 With A Fixed Mount Davit
Question:
I have a Pro 120 Sun Dolphin that I want to lift up to the top of my House Boat for storage with the fixed mount divot rated @ 600lbs. I am wondering if there is enough leverage between the lifting bars and sides on the fishing boat to lift it. Are you aware of anyone trying to use the EM02000 to lift a small fishing boat ~253lbs + outbrd ~90lbs? Or any other alternatives you can recommend? Appreciate any feedback you may have. Thanks,

I have no reason to believe your fixed mount davit will not lift your boat, that weighs 343 lbs with motor, if it is rated to lift up to 600 lbs. The Erickson Lift Sling for Personal Watercraft - 1,000 lbs, part # EM02000, will be perfect for lifting your boat, provided that all you are doing is lifting the boat. This sling is not designed for storage.
I have included a video demo link below.
