Today we're reviewing part number CAM39812 from Camco. This is the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose "Y" Fitting. It's Y-shaped, as you can see here. The bayonet ends on the two fittings here both swivel 360 degrees, as does the lug fitting at the hose end. As you can see, the bayonet end fittings do have built-in gaskets. That's for an odor-tight connection. What this does is it allows you to connect two separate hoses to the same dump station.
It's perfect for an RV that has two separate tank valves. It's made of a stabilized resin that stands up to the harsh rays of the sun, so it should not fade or crack. It stores in a 4-inch RV bumper. That's it for part number CAM39812 from Camco, the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose "Y" Fitting. .

The travel trailer we have purchased came with two holding tanks so I needed a second waste line hose. These are perfect if you have two separate sewer lines. The fact they swivel independently is great and makes it easy to connect two sewer lines on slightly uneven terrain.

Not what I had hoped for. The single side connection easily comes loose from the “Y” and all connections have slight leaks. It gets the job done, but makes a mess and causes a headache.

So what I recommend using as a replacement is the Valterra Rotating "Y" Sewer Connector # F02-2030. The Valterra is a heavier-duty connector than the Camco that has internal seals (see accompanying photo)...

Its great at full hook up parks. When having to use a dump site its quicker to dump each tank individually than to set up all the hoses. A great product though.
