This is the third hitch i have purchased from E trailer. Quality products with step by step instructions and help if you need it. I was able to install all three with the info they provided and any questions emailed were answered quickly. They provided fast shipping as well. This is a company that stands by their products with excellent customer service .
2007 Solara coupe. I bought this just to mount a bike rack. Its well designed and heavily constructed. I don't believe it would have any trouble with a small trailer. I installed the hitch by myself in about 20 min. I did it with the car on the ground. The box it came in made an excellent pad to lie on while installing. The fit was perfect. the only tool I needed was a socket, ratchet and extension. I thought I was missing a hole in the frame until I discovered the hole was covered with a very thin tape dot. Very hard to see it, even with a light under the car. My only wish was that it could have went over the muffler instead of under it. Its not that big of a deal but the hitch would have been less visible that way. The Curt was lower priced than the Reese. I don't see how the Reese could be any better. Very happy with the product and the shipping time.

I was immediately notified that the hitch was not available in their main warehouse, but they looked in their other distribution centers and found it. They still got the hitch delivered to me well within their promised time.
The hitch is perfect. I installed it myself on my 2005 Toyota Solara convertible. Their videos on their Web site were quite helpful. I found that I needed to insert one bolt on the driver's side before I could get the holes to easily align on the passenger's side, but the hitch aligned perfectly.
I'm using it to carry my bicycle rack.
Bolted right in with no modifications or drilling. Easiest hitch install I have ever done.

Good product. Fast delivery. Bolts furnished would not work on my car. I went to the hardware store and purchased new bolts. After that, installation was easy.
Every part excellent quality. Perfect fit, all parts were exact for my vehicle. Watched the video on youtube for wiring and being a mechanic for over 50 years was able to connect signal lights all from driver side of harness. Instead of leaving plug inside trunk I wired through the rubber outlet to the back of the hitch ready for use. Very happy highly recommend etrailer.
The trailer hitch fits perfectly on my 2008 Toyota Solara. It took approx 20 minutes to install. My vehicle already had the pre-drilled holes (which were taped up by the manufacturer) which made to installation a snap.
I purchased this solely to use with my hitch mounted bike rack so that I have full access to my trunk so that I can still drive around with the roof down on my car.

Trailer kit was very high quality, affordable, and easy to install. I watched a video on[line] on how to install. I did it all by myself and my college age daughter. I have purchased several hitches from Etrailer over the years. My experience has always been Par Excellent! That is a rare thing in this day and age of companies that don't care. About the customer but only their bottom line. I have always found their service, price ans quality to be the best. Yes, after one year I am still very happy with this hitch. No complaints whatsoever. I am completely satisfied.
Bolt hole positioning off ¼ inch- stripped a bolt trying to correct.

If you are having troubles with the holes not lining up, it could be that the hitch has been flexed during shipment. This is common amongst hitches, since the mounting brackets are made from a mild steel that allows the hitch to flex with the vehicle after installation. If the entire hitch was made of rigid steel, there would be a greater chance of the hitch being damaged and experiencing stress cracks. Such cracks could cause the hitch to malfunction. This flexing often times will cause the holes not to align. Because of this we do have a help article I have the link attached below that will walk you through the process of straightening the hitch.

It does everything it should. It is a little lower than I would like some times but does just fine.
