Recommended Hitch for a 2006 Toyota Solara Convertible
Question:
Were looking at the Curt hitch for a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible. Wed want to add a 1 1/4 to 2 adapter to use our bike rack. Do you know whether the 6 or 7 length would be best to clear the bumper or would both work? Thanks.

From the edge of your Solara's bumper to the hitch pin hole on the item # C12110 hitch is 5". With this in mind, I recommend the 6-1/2" long Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter item # e43YR. This will give you plenty of clearance to avoid hitting the rear of your car.
The Curt Hitch item # C12110 is custom fit and bolts to your 2006 Toyota Solara convertible with included hardware. I recommend checking with the manufacturer of your bike rack to see if you can use a hitch adapter with it.
