Hitch is very well engineered and made. All holes in the right spot. Looks good on the car (2013 Lexus es350) and is unobtrusive (good for the wife!) Instructions clear with color photos of car it is designed for. I had a question during install and it was answered with a phone call. Customer service very good, as well.
Cautions: Installing on a garage floor adds to difficulty. Lifting the center of the car with a scissor jack in-between the rear wheels helps with clearance. Two people to lift hitch into place would be good, although I managed alone. Mud cover did not fit back on car, but maybe I should have fiddled more with it.
This is my second trailer hitch from eTrailer and both experiences exceeded my expectations. This hitch was installed on a Lexus hybrid ES300, not your typical car for a trailer hitch and I did have to have it professionally installed but it didn’t cost much. The first trailer hitch I bought was for a Prius V wagon and my son and I put it on easily by ourselves. I was concerned that my hitch would bottom out with my Lexus but that’s only happened once love this company I love the customer support.

Still loving my hitch after a year, solid and no paint chips or rust. What more could you want from a hitch?
Price is the same as uhaul , shipping is fast but they don't tell u when is outstock. Is ok look around first
About a two hour install. Instructions were clear. While you can modify the under-belly rear pan to fit this (instructions included), I found that it caused some rattling. Ended up removing the pan. No additional road noise. Works great for a light weight receiver. Put a 4-bicycle rack on it - quite a bit of bounce due to the wait so take your time over rough roads. Not recommended for a long distance with that much weight. Also pulled a small flatbed trailer with two kayaks - no issues. Due to the low-to-ground position this receiver is on the Lexus, I had to get an 8" lifted ball mount to match up to this small trailer. Trailer was about 500lbs loaded.
Directions for installation quite good with super photo's. Only need to jack up rear of car. Splash pan was tricky to re-install between fuel tank and hitch because plastic receiver fasteners keep getting caught between hitch and fuel tank flange. Had to remove fasteners and reinstall after positioning. Vary tight space to do this. Photo showing trim for single exhaust could be better explained regarding "trim line". Photo only has blue tape. However, accompanying directions did show and dimension for trim required. Also able to figure out by holding splash shield up to installed hitch. Exhaust rubber isolators where removed fairly easily by hand, no tools.
Electrical plug installation was very well explained. Note, on Hybrid ES300h there is a ground on left rear side where tail lights are grounded. Also be aware battery is on RH rear of vehicle not the front as in std ES350.
Would definitely recommend this hitch & electrical harness conversion.
I've purchased 3 trailer hitches from here and have no complaints. They're easy to install and I use them primarily for my bike rack but have used them to tow other things as well.
I bought this hitch for my Lexus, in order to attach a bike rack, as I would like to pursue biking as a recreational activity with my grandchildren.
My son-in-law installed it for me and said it was quite easy to do. I like it because it doesn’t stick out, so I never need to fear smashing my shins !!
Works great on my 2014 Lexus.

Great. Working as expected
Had the hitch installed by a local body shop. They said it was easy to install. I have had no problems with the hitch thus far and do not anticipate any in the future.
