Biker Bar in use

With B&W's Biker Bar, it's never been easier to secure your motorcycle for travel. Just bolt the latching plate to the floor of your trailer, and clamp the included bar to your bike's frame. Once both components are appropriately mounted, simply drive your motorcycle onto your trailer, over the latching base plate, and the bar will automatically latch into the base. No straps or wheel chocks are needed.

Not only does this motorcycle tie-down system make it fast and easy to connect your bike to your trailer, but it also makes it safer and more secure. Because there are no tie-down straps, there are no buckles or hooks to rub against your bike, potentially scratching your paint or trim. And because the bar attaches to your motorcycle's frame, this system provides more stability than tie-downs alone. In fact, the Biker Bar system is designed not only to secure your bike, but also to create a natural ride for it during trailering. Once hooked up to the latching plate in your trailer, your motorcycle's suspension is effectively linked with the suspension system of the trailer, eliminating undo stress on your bike.

Installation

Installation of the Biker Bar is simple. The bar itself clamps to your bike's tubed frame as indicated in the instructions. Be sure to clear any potential obstacles, such as hydraulic lines or wiring harnesses, that could get caught between the clamps and the frame. The clamps on the bar are lined with neoprene to prevent scratches to your bike's frame.

Once you have the bar securely clamped to the frame of your bike, ride the bike onto the trailer to determine the location where you want the bike to attach. Mark that spot on the floor of your trailer so that you can bolt down the latching plate. You will have to drill into your trailer's floor to attach the plate.

The final setup step is to adjust the height of the latching base. Once the base is bolted to the trailer's floor, ride the bike over it until the bar is directly in front of the base. Measure the distance from the middle of the bar to the trailer's floor. Your bike's suspension must be slightly compressed while latched down to appropriately stabilize the bike during transport. So you must remain sitting on the motorcycle while taking this measurement. Once you have this measurement, remove the bar from the bike and place it in the latching base. Adjust the height of the base until the bar is the same distance from the floor as it was when on the motorcycle. The base adjusts in 1/4" increments, so the height may not be exact. As long as the bar is within 1/4" of your initial measurement, setup is complete.

The biker bar is bad ass! If your bike has to be a trailer queen this is the only way to parade her around period and being made and in 'merica you know it's quality!!

Best mount ever ! I am going to purchase another for my garage. I have a 95 Fat Boy with drag pipes, it was a tight fit but does not interfere with my pipes nor my kick stand. And I mounted it under my kick stand. perfect fit. Took test drive and never moved , I doe add front and rear straps barely snug for heavy breaking as back up.

Just finished a trip to Maine using the biker bar. I love the way it you just drive the bike into it and your bike is essentially secure. I say essentially because on my old bike there is always going to be oil on the frame and tightening the bar sufficiently to keep it from sliding fore & aft is difficult with the short tightening handle. I almost messed up some wires that ran along the frame during my initial install & set up as the bar slid aft. Even with my oily frame it works rock solid at keeping the bike from leaning left or right. I threw 1 'Shockstrap' from etrailer to the back to the trailer just to ensure there would be no movement in the event of heavy braking. My buddy used 4-point strap method. It took him a lot of time to get his bike adjusted correctly and then he was re-adjusting them every time we stopped. The Biker Bar makes it easy to load and saves time!

Overall the Biker Bar is heavy duty and works great. I purchased for a 2022 Harley Low Rider S. My kick stand is mounted towards the front of the bike so I have to put the Biker Bar in the rear so that the kickstand does not hit the Biker Bar. The rear is the only place I can mount the Biker Bar to work, but I have to remove the screw that is mounted to the brake line for it to work. Also, the bolts that came with the system that mount it down are 2.5" long and I had to buy 3" bolts since I mounted to a utility trailer which has 2X4 base. Once everything was installed and I mounted the bike, it does not move a bit. This system is very solid and I would not hesitate to haul long distance with this Biker Bar.

by:

Best damn motorcycle mount HANDS DOWN!!! Yes it’s expensive. But ask yourself, why would you tie down a 20/30k bike with a ten dollar strap. I hauled three bikes in an enclosed trailer 1100 miles and they didn’t move at all. Great product. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought three of these to use on a open car hauler type trailer I had made to trailer my three Harleys, two Wide Glides & a Road Glide Ultra. The trailer is 20' long which includes a 30" dovetail. It has two 3500 lb axels and is 82" wide inside fender to fender. The Biker Bar performs as advertised. No need for tie down straps. I trailered these bikes 900 miles from Missouri to Colorado and back, along I-70. I-70 in spots, especially going through Denver can be pretty rough. Lots of dips and bumps across all the overpasses. The Biker Bar held the bikes great with no problems. I used some cheap wheel chocks from Harbor Freight on the front wheels to keep the front wheel from flopping, but found out they were not really necessary when the Biker Bar is adjusted properly. Will not use them on the next trip. The Biker Bar is easy to install, just read the instructions and watch the video etrailer provides. B&W you could make the install a one man job if you provided a 3/16" dia hole in the plates that mount under the trailer. This would allow you to use a temporary screw to hold the plate in place while you drill the holes for two permanent bolts. I used a drywall screw and a fender washer to hold the plate in place. Also the two 5/8" dia bolts that hold the Main plate, are not long enough to go through a 1-1/2" board. I had to buy new bolts an inch longer. Other than that, I really am pleased with the "Biker Bar".

Love these things! Recently bought some extra mounting plates for a single bike Aluma MC10 Trailer, so I could transfer the Biker Bar to it if I wanted. Works great!

by:

Absolutely awesome product... delivery was fast, install was quick and easy, and I'm looking forward to getting to put it to the test in couple of weeks for a 10 hr trailer ride....

Its still working awesome, Ive used it both on my wide glide and also my street glide. Just made a 800 Mile trip using it on the street glide and it worked flawless... absolutely love it

by:

What a great invention!!! Works perfectly and more so when hauling two large bikes next to each other allowing for more space all around the bikes. Having peace of mind that the bikes are 100% secure is most important.

by:

This is the best way to transport a bike. We have two Harleys that we trailer with this system. Over 5,000 miles and have not had one issue. Our state has terrible roads and not a problem

by:

Outstanding product. I really think you need to market this product through Harley-Davidson and Indian. This would fly off the shelves there. If nothing else, get it into the bike rallies and down to Daytona during Bikefest and Bike Week. Need a salesman to do that? Happy to help promote it if I can. VERY satisfied customer.

Great application for your bike! Saves lots of time and energy.

by:

I wish that I had purchased these long ago. If you trailer a Harley, these Biker Bars are awesome.

by:

One of the best purchases I have ever made!!! Super easy to install, super easy to use and when others see how it works, I am cock of the block. Recently picked up my Harley from the dealer after having some service work done. One of the salesmen saw me installing the bar on my bike, riding the bike into the trailer and simply closing the trailer. He wanted to know why I did not tie the bike down. Showed him the biker bar and how secure my bike was without any straps and he was blown away!

by:

This is by far the absolute best way to load your bike on a trailer!!! As a single woman I needed a way to be able to load my bike without having to have someone hold the bike… You literally drive into your trailer lock it in with one twist and you’re loaded! Everyone sees this once I know what it is and where I got it and I tell themas a single woman I needed a way to be able to load my bike without having to have someone hold the bike… You literally drive into your trailer lock it in with one twist and you’re loaded! It’s expensive but well well well worth it

by:

i bought 2 of these for my Honda Fury and Yamaha Roadliner as they both fit the frame. The Fury goes on with no problems. The Roadliner the kickstand doesn't go all the way up. After reading the instructions BikerBar states that this may happen, even with a HD.

I used the BikerBar for the Yamaha and went over 2,800 miles … from LI to Key Largo and back. BUT I did not use just the BikerBar. I also used straps to secure the bike as I didn't feel 100% knowing how bad the roads and traffic can be particularly here in the Northeast.

I do like how they hold the bike in an upright position, but im not sure I would solely trust just the BikerBar to hold the bike. It took only a couple more minutes and a couple of straps to put my mind at ease.

fast delivery

Not one for writing reviews. But this item deserves one. Just finished trip to the
shores of Lake Erie from central Florida. Who ever invented this Biker Bar is a
genius. Drive bike in trailer, done ready to roll. 2400 miles round trip with all
kinds of roads under construction. Bike never moved ( awesome)
i know a lot of you are just like myself a hard working person and it might seem a little
pricey, But worth every dam penny......................

by:

Love these. No more straps

by:

These things are the bomb! Rock Solid and Saves time and don't have to spiderweb the tie downs so I can walk around the bikes.

by:

I used this in my Ford 250 Transit Van to travel back and forth to Florida , this past winter. It held my 2018 HD Fatboy in place securely with out any kind of strapping and the bike never moved an inch. This is the easiest, fastest and best hold down I have ever used.

by:

This is so neat and works like a charm. No need for a bunch of straps . Locks the bike down secure with room to move around it inside the trailer . Definitely recommend this product.

by:

Great product, don’t let straps cause you to spend money repairing your bike like we did, spend the money on this and know when you get to your destination your bikes are still standing.
The roads around construction site and in the nort are terrible, we pull with motor home and magnifies the bounce.

by:

These are the best! No straps, no mess, and ultimate security for transporting your bikes. No more problems with anything bouncing or coming loose and they are easy to use.

by:

Fit and finish could have been better
