Today we're going to take a look at the JR Products city water flange with the 1/2" NPT fitting and in the black color. Now this city water flange will replace a worn or damaged water flange on your RV. It is a direct OEM replacement. Basically if you connect to the city water at your campground and the city water flange starts leaking water on your RV then you'll probably need to replace the city water flange on the RV. That flange will use a lead-free brass check valve on the inside of the flange to control the water flow between the city water connection and your RV water system. You can see the check valve right there on the inside.
Basically if that valve becomes broken or damaged, it can cause this flange to leak on your RV. This is all UV and impact resistant. If you notice on this end it has the 1/2" NPT fitting on this end and then the hose connection on the other end. The hose connection you'll notice has this nice swivel knob on it to help tighten the hose to the flange.Now it does include this hose washer that I pulled out earlier. It has a nice screen on it that'll help filter out any debris from the incoming water.
So you make sure that's installed before you make your water hose connection, and then screw your water hose on there. If you notice, it also has this nice rubber tethered cap to help keep this connection covered when it's not being used.A few dimensions on this we're going to give you, the outside dimension, which is the diameter edge to edge, it's right at 3". The cutout diameter, the amount or the hole size you need for this to fit in, is going to right at 1 1/2". And the valve depth from the back to the very end is right at 1 11/16". And as I mentioned, it's in a black color.But that should do it for the review on the JR Products city water flange with the 1/2" NPT fitting in the black color..
