Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the mini momentary switch. This is going to allow us to turn something on just for a moment and then as soon as we let go, it's going to turn back off. So this is a single pole single throw switch to make it a little technical. You can take a closer look at it so you can see if this is going to be the right switch for you. So as you can see, when we press it, it's going to spring back.
So as soon as you press it, it's going to turn your accessory on. Let go, turns it off. This is going to have a 13 amp rating at 125 volts AC or a 10 amp rating at 250 volts AC and a half horsepower at 125 to 250 volts AC or five amps at 14 volts DC.As far as the size, overall it's about seven eights of an inch long by about five eights of an inch wide. The cutout that this will fit into would be about three quarters between three quarters and seven eights of an inch. There's a couple of little tines on either side or a little sort of flex points.
That's going to help to hold the tension in that cutout space, if that's a face plate or just the accessory itself or maybe a wall that you're mounting this into. So have a little bit of wiggle room there. Width-wise it's about half an inch, maybe slightly more like nine 16ths. It is black in color. Made in the USA.

These are the perfect replacement switches for the older monitor panel in your RV. Replaced all 4 on mine and now everything works as it should.

I needed a mini rocker switch installed in a panel that operates the water pump in a 20 year old motor home. Switch was delivered the day after it was confirmed by the USPS that they had made a delivery of the package. Not a fault of Etrailer.
I have not installed the switch but it is identical to the one that requires replacing on a quiet Source 10 KW generator.

This switch was exactly what I needed to get our water pump switch working again. There are 4 different types of switches in the face of our motorhome's vent-a-hood. I thought they would be difficult to replace, but the old one pops out with a thin bladed screwdriver and the one plugged right in and worked with no issues.

If you're wanting an interior switch you could use one like # 37212005 or # 37212815 if you're wanting something really small. You should note that the # 37212815 is a momentary switch which means that it has a spring that pushes it back to off after you press it. This is like an ignition switch in a car where once the car is started you let go of the key and it pushes itself back to just the on position while no longer running the starter.
