The hidden brackets attach to your vehicle's frame to provide attachment points for your tow bar. The visible portions of the brackets can be removed when you are not towing.

Note: Fish wire bolt leaders (C58390 - sold separately) are required for complete installation.
The square drawbars, or front arms, on the crossbar-style base plate kit are simple to mount and remove, easily securing with hitch pins. Once the drawbars have been removed, the remaining brackets are virtually invisible. On most automobiles, the brackets are mounted within the grille, where they remain not only unseen, but protected from scrapes and scuffs as well.

Aligment with the Roadmaster Crosbar is slightly off, requiring a bit of muscle and manipulation to attach it. However, once assembled on the car it is rock solid and near bullet proof. Tow anywhere!

Highly recommend the base plate for ease of connection to and disassembly from the tow bar.
Product was well made and works as intended. However, the instructions could have been a little clearer and had to elongate a hole on the passengers side to get the pin to slide through and had to cut some off of a backing plate so it would fit around the brake line. Just a little inconvenience not a big deal.
Difficult fitting brackets because of other items on vehicle but no drilling required and it fit perfectly.
I ordered this roadmaster base plate on Tue and received it on thur,Installation was a breeze.I will will definitely order from etrailer again.
Arrived from the US very quickly and I was able to install it on Saturday Morning and am going to use it on Wednesday when I go to pick up my new (to me) camper.I had to remove the bumper to detach mu old tow bar hardware which was in the way but that made the install that much easier.
Like the others I have installed from Roadmaster it fit very well and is high quality. Great products.
Difficult to install. Once installed,functions good.

I recommend taking a look at the video installation that we have on a 2004 Chevy Tracker.

Perfect!!
Solid construction, decent instructions. Can't give the Excellent rating because my 2-day shipping took 5 days. Work on the way your website displays shipping/tracking details guys. If its not actually shipped and waiting to be picked up, then don't say that it shipped.
Just receive the product, opened and looked at the product all seems good haven't had the chance to install it yet. Really was surprised how fast the order was shipped and received. Thanks Tori B.
