Yes, the Saris Bones 3 Bike Carrier # SA801BL that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Ford Mustang convertible with a rear spoiler. The arced legs of the rack allow it to fit right over the top of the spoiler without issue. This will work great to allow you to carry your bikes and won't require you to install a hitch either.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame... view full answer...
The Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR that you referenced has a master cylinder fitting that has a female threaded portion which is pretty standard on trailer actuators. Typically brake line fittings spin on the line so that they can thread into the cylinder but then once torqued down they seal. Based on your picture this would be an easy replacement for what you have. view full answer...
We have just what you are looking for!
You need the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24687 which is a confirmed fit for your 2001 Mustang GT.
If you are planning on using your trailer hitch receiver to tow a trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # C55326 and a ball mount #3592 with a hitch ball, either the 1-7/8" # 19256, or 2" hitch ball # 19258.
I included a few videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at. view full answer...
For your 2015 Ford Mustang I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24928. With it there are no special requirements when using a bike rack like there are with the Curt offering.
This is a Class I hitch so you will need a Class I compatible bike rack and it is limited to 2 bikes maximum. Now if the baby seat or fenders if equipped won't interfere with a wheel mount type of carrier I recommend the Curt # C18085. It holds the bikes at the wheels and has an 90 pound capacity despite weighing... view full answer...
Your 2016 Ford Mustang hardtop can best transport your 2 bikes on a trailer hitch receiver. This avoids the concern of placing a fairly heavy trunk-mount rack on your brand new Pony's sheet metal or of having to lift your bikes up to roof level every time you need to transport them on a roof rack.
We offer light-duty Class I hitches for your Mustang Fastback that can be seen by clicking on the link provided. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 24928 because it has the same capacity as the others... view full answer...
I looked up the owners manual for a 2010 Ford Mustang and it states it is rated to two up to 1,000 lbs. There are no air shocks available though you should not need them; when we installed the Curt hitch on a 2010 Ford Mustang it was more than 11 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver which isn't super high but is definitely okay to tow with.
We do have the hitch, wiring and rest of the set up you need in order to tow if you'd like. Here are the parts you'd need for your 2010... view full answer...
For your 2017 Ford Mustang GT the correct Draw Tite hitch is the part # 24928 and not the 60853 you mentioned. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. We asked our demo and install guys to name their favorite, most easy-to-use bike racks and this one showed up in nearly everyone's top three. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
For a trailer hitch you then would want the part # 24863 which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Ford Mustang.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without... view full answer...
The CG9 tire chains # TH2004205104 do fit the 235/55-17 tires on your 2017 Ford Mustang. These are Class S rated chains meaning they are designed to work on vehicles that have limited clearance for chains like your Mustang. The chains have a 9mm clearance requirement so they are within the range specified by your owner's manual. I have included a link to a video review of these chains for you. view full answer...
You would need a converter like part # 118158 to allow you to tow a trailer with a separate third brake light.
For a 4-way though you'd want the part # C55326 which is confirmed as a fit for your 2004 Ford Mustang. So what I would do is install the adapter # 118158 on the wiring of the trailer since it is what uses non-standard trailer wiring. This will leave you with a standard 4-way on your vehicle that you can maybe tow a future trailer with. view full answer...
The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 466-1 that you referenced will work on your 1998 Ford Mustang Rousch GT. Since you have a Blue Ox tow bar you are going to need to get a Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter # RM-032. This will allow Roadmaster base plates to be used with the following Blue Ox tow bars: Aventa, Aventa II, Kar Bar, Aladdin, Alexxa, Acclaim (and all Blue Ox A-Frame tow bars with 1 or 3 pronged attachment).
There are several other components needed to flat tow a vehicle. You will... view full answer...
The only trailer hitch options for a 2014 Ford Mustang are class I 1-1/4" like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11210 which is what I recommend. It can be adapted to a 2" using the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # HTAD but keep in mind this will reduce the weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50%. view full answer...
The Roadmaster base plate kit part # 466-1 is the correct kit for your 1997 Ford Mustang but you'd want to use a Roadmaster tow bar and not the adapter you mentioned.
The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon All Terain, # RM-522. This has non-binding arms which makes the setup very easy to connect/disconnect.
For lighting/safety cables, locks, and covers for the tow bar we have the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain kit part # RM-9243-1 which comes with all of that as one part number.... view full answer...
Saris does have some trunk mount bike racks that will fit your 2008 Ford Mustang GT convertible but # SA102 is not one of the models listed as a fit. I recommend the Bones, # SA805BL, which will also allow you to carry the bike(s) more level compared to the Solo which does not have independently adjustable arms.
For something that will fit and that is closer in price to the Solo I recommend the Guardian # SAR93FR. I have linked videos on both of these bike racks for you. view full answer...
If you have a 2008 Ford Mustang GT with a V6, we can fit you with a hitch. The Curt Hitch part # C11312 is the correct hitch to use. view full answer...
I checked with Superchips and the correct Flashpaq F5 Tuner for your 2008 Ford Mustang GT with the 4.6L engine is the part # SU1845 (or the part # SU4845 if you live in California). This tuner can indeed be used to recalibrate the factory speedometer for various tire sizes or gear ratios. It can also be used to raise the stock speed limit setting on your Mustang.
I have attached a short video review below on this tuner, along with the written installation manual that you can check out.... view full answer...
If you are looking for a tow bar wiring harness for the front of your 1994 Ford Mustang that plugs into a 7-Way then I have a solution though there are no custom fit wiring harnesses available. You can use a magnetic kit such as # RM-2120. But instead of using the 4-Way flat at the front you would need to instead wire in a 6-Way using # RM-146-7.
The 7-Way end will plug into the RV. The other end will plug into the 6-Way that you will mount at the front of the Mustang. The wires from... view full answer...
Because you have a special edition spoiler on your 1999 Ford Mustang the best recommendation I can make for you to carry a couple of lightweight bikes would be a hitch mounted bike rack.
For a hitch you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11041. For a bike rack I would recommend the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. I recommend this rack the most because it has a ton of positive reviews from our customers and because of how well it works. I attached a review video for you to check out... view full answer...
The Draw Tite hitch part # 24863 is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Ford Mustang V6 and has a 2,000 lb towing capacity. As long as the owners manual of your vehicle states that you could tow a trailer that weight you'd be good.
For trailer wiring I'd recommend the Tekonsha kit part # 118487 as it installs without splicing into the vehicle wiring and has the most reliable converter box of all of the kits we offer.
For a ball mount you'd then want the part # 3594 and for hitch balls # 19258... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with Standard Drawbar 114053 is a confirmed fit for 2018 models but they have not yet tested a fit on the 2019 model. This is the same # C11405 (11405) hitch receiver but it comes with the ball mount/draw bar # C45521 as you stated. Sometimes companies package the parts together on the smaller hitches and it does give you a cost savings in most cases. I honestly don't know why the manufacturer gives the price difference, but in this case it definitely... view full answer...
