Could Demco Actuator Replace Actuator on Demco Kar Kaddy
Question:
Hi, I have an older Demco Kar Kaddy, with a rusted out master cylinder. The measurements for this unit are right it almost looks the same on the outside, bolt pattern, etc. My trailer has drum brakes ie, im pretty sure im looking at the right part. The brake line from the trailer though has a fixed end - it does not rotate. Does the connector on the cylinder rotate, or will I need to use some form of adapter here? Thanks!

The Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR that you referenced has a master cylinder fitting that has a female threaded portion which is pretty standard on trailer actuators. Typically brake line fittings spin on the line so that they can thread into the cylinder but then once torqued down they seal. Based on your picture this would be an easy replacement for what you have.
