Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible with 2018 Ford Mustang Coupe
Question:
Will this hitch receiver Curt #114053 fit on a 2018 or 20019 Mustang Eco Boost coupe, with active valve performance exhaust ! Also what is the difference between the 11405 and 114053. Seems the 114053 comes with a draw bar where as the 11405 doesnt. If they are the same, one would think the 114053 would more costly with the additional item!!! Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with Standard Drawbar 114053 is a confirmed fit for 2018 models but they have not yet tested a fit on the 2019 model. This is the same # C11405 (11405) hitch receiver but it comes with the ball mount/draw bar # C45521 as you stated. Sometimes companies package the parts together on the smaller hitches and it does give you a cost savings in most cases. I honestly don't know why the manufacturer gives the price difference, but in this case it definitely works to your advantage.
You will also want a hitch ball like # A-82 for a 2 inch ball or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. You will also need a pin and clip like # F-4, or I recommend a locking anti-rattle pin like # SHP2082. I've attached some videos to assist.
