Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2015 Ford Mustang and Beach Cruiser Bike with Baby Seat
Question:
Hi Guys. I have a 19 month old son and Ive got to lose this 30 pounds. Help I have a 2015 Ford Mustang and need a bike rack for my Beach cruiser My baby seat is on the back of my bike. So nothing is slim lined. As you know the Mustangs rear and trunk it wide. Any suggestions on which rack to purchase? Oh and I dont want a hood rack. Theres no way I can haul around a Baby and toss the bike on my cars roof. / Thank you so much in advance for your time.

For your 2015 Ford Mustang I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24928. With it there are no special requirements when using a bike rack like there are with the Curt offering.
This is a Class I hitch so you will need a Class I compatible bike rack and it is limited to 2 bikes maximum. Now if the baby seat or fenders if equipped won't interfere with a wheel mount type of carrier I recommend the Curt # C18085. It holds the bikes at the wheels and has an 90 pound capacity despite weighing just 46 pounds. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
If the baby seat or fenders if equipped are in the way then I recommend the Swagman XTC # S64670 which holds the bikes primarily at the frame. As long as the distance from the ground to the top of the bike frame at the center of the bike is greater than 12 inches it will work. I have linked a video review of this rack as well.
