Bike Rack Recommendation for a 1999 Ford Mustang with 35th Edition Spoiler

Hello, I have a 1999 Ford Mustang with the 35th-edition rear spoiler and want to carry one e-bike app. 14 lbs and one lightweight mountain-bike. I need a bike rack. Does this fit my car without damaging the trunk lid ? with best regards,

Because you have a special edition spoiler on your 1999 Ford Mustang the best recommendation I can make for you to carry a couple of lightweight bikes would be a hitch mounted bike rack.

For a hitch you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11041. For a bike rack I would recommend the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. I recommend this rack the most because it has a ton of positive reviews from our customers and because of how well it works. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.

The Curt hitch requires a stabilizer strap like # 18050 when you are using it to carry bikes or cargo.

Trunk mounted bike racks are great options for most vehicles. However, since your vehicle has a special edition spoiler, I wouldn't recommend you attempt to use on yours.
