I checked with Superchips and the correct Flashpaq F5 Tuner for your 2008 Ford Mustang GT with the 4.6L engine is the part # SU1845 (or the part # SU4845 if you live in California). This tuner can indeed be used to recalibrate the factory speedometer for various tire sizes or gear ratios. It can also be used to raise the stock speed limit setting on your Mustang.

The Superchips Flashpaq F5 SU5850 that you had referenced is not compatible with your particular vehicle.
