The Curt Class III # C13416 weighs just under 35 lbs, and the etrailer # e23ZR weights about 1 lbs less, at just under 30 lbs. I'd recommend going with the Curt Class III, because with the more popular 2 inch receiver opening, you'll have a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories available to you.
The Curt hitch is also US manufactured.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a few other items to complete your setup. For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend # C56434.

I have a solution for you. Even though there is not a tow hook attachment location on the passenger's side, one solution is to weld the Safety Chain U-Loop for Trailer Hitch - Weld-On # 362ChainLoopU onto the same frame location on the passenger's side of the vehicle as the hook your driver's side. Also, for a solution that doesn't require welding, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149 has an eye to hook up straps/hooks as well. view full answer...
For the front of your 2011 Toyota Rav 4. I recommend the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats - Gray, # WT460721. These gray mats are a custom fit your your vehicle so they will mold to your floorboard nicely.
Then for the 2nd row, you would need the WeatherTech 2nd Row Rear Auto Floor Mat in gray, # WT460722. These are also a custom fit.
And to finish the look, I have the custom fit WeatherTech Cargo Liner in Gray # WT42295.
The difference in the photos is that the photo used for the... view full answer...
The tongue weight of your 2010 RAV4 will not change regardless of the hitch you install on your vehicle. If you have the 2.5L engine you are limited to 150-lbs of tongue weight. If you have the 3.5L engine the tongue weight is increased to 200-lbs if you do not have the tow package and 350-lbs if you have the tow package.
The etrailer hitch # e98864 has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs, but you will be limited to the tongue weight capacity of your RAV4 since it is lower. So if you... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch 13509 that you referenced was discontinued and replaced with the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13149. The change was made to include 2013 vehicles. This hitch now is tested to fit 2006 - 2013 vehicles which includes your 2009 Toyota Rav4.
If you are looking to tow with your vehicle, I recommend checking out the Curt Custom Wiring # C56165 and also the Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes 2 ball mounts, a 1-7/8 inch ball, a 2 inch ball, pin and clip and carrying bag.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13524 that you referenced is indeed a fit for the U.S. version of the Toyota RAV4 for model years 1996 through 2005. This hitch is designed specifically for the U.S. versions of this vehicle which could easily have different mounting points than the RAV4 made for the European market.
Curt designs and test-fits their hitches only for vehicles that were originally intended for the U.S. and so there is likely very limited, if any, demand for this item in... view full answer...

The warranty for the Curt # C12108 Class II trailer hitch stipulates that a stabilizing strap like # 18050 must be used for all non-trailer loads like bike racks, regardless of how many bikes are being carried. The strap would attach to the top of the rear hatch, but unfortunately the spoiler on the rear hatch would make the strap unsuitable for your vehicle. My fear is that the strap could damage the spoiler. Instead, I'd recommend the Curt Class II hitch, part # C12108. With this hitch... view full answer...
I spoke with my Curt representative, who tells me that using the hitch as a lifting point is not recommended, as the hitch is not intended or designed for this purpose. According to the owners manual for the 2013 Rav4, the only recommended jacking points are the the notched areas in the pinch weld behind the rocker panel just behind the front wheel and just ahead of the rear wheel.
The plate or gusset you describe is actually welded to the top of the hitch, and is meant to strengthen and... view full answer...
As far as the maximum gross towing weight rating of your 2013 Toyota RAV4, you are correct that it is only rated for 1,500 pounds.
For the hitch construction, the particular 2" hitches that are available for a 2013 RAV4 also fit newer models of RAV4 that have a 3,500 pound maximum weight rating. This is the reason for the big difference between the hitches and your 1,500 limit.
As far as the fasteners on the hitches, manufacturers construct to get the most capacity out of the bolt connections.... view full answer...
Yes, the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118578 contains enough wire to run to your battery through the interior of your 2018 Toyota RAV4. They include enough wire knowing that everyone will route their wiring differently. I have linked a installation video below that shows there is still excess wire with routing it around the frame and up to the battery.
I would still run it up the drivers side since the module and battery are mounted on the drivers side of your RAV4. view full answer...
We offer three different Class III hitches for your 2021 Toyota RAV4, The Curt # C13416, etrailer brand # e23ZR will all have about 9-1/2 inches of clearance between the underside of the receiver tube and the ground. The EcoHitch # EH97FR sits about 2 inches higher on the vehicle, with about 11-1/2 inches of clearance below the underside of the receiver tube.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wring harness,... view full answer...
There are several things we will need to know in order to give you a good recommendation. What does the connector look like on the trailer you are planning on towing. From the research I have found that the RAV4 has a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.
If your trailer has a 4-way connector on it, you should be able to just hook the trailer to the new harness on your Toyota.
If your trailer has a wire harness that is different from the 4-way connector you have on your T-One harness,... view full answer...
I took a look at the online copy of the owner's manual for a 2018 Toyota RAV4 and it did not list a maximum tongue weight capacity. The tongue weight is meant to be around 10 percent to 15 percent when towing a trailer, like you said, but our only source for capacities is the owner's manual, and this one does not specify a hard limit.
Realistically, you should probably be fine using a 2 inch hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13149 - a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and 525 lb tongue... view full answer...
To avoid damage, Yakima recommends removing the bikes from the rack before opening the tail gate. Following this advice will ensure that your door and hinges will remain damage free.
The weight of the rack itself will not hurt anything, and would allow the door to open and close without any worry of damage. Adding the weight of the bikes into the equation leaves open the possibility of the hinges being damaged. view full answer...
I'm sorry to say that we do not offer a hubcap that will fit the Dexstar 4-bolt 'star' vintage trailer rims. I sure wish I had better news for you.
Your best bet would be check on the availability of conventional replacement hubs that would allow you to use replacement wheels so you could use a conventional steel wheel such as # AM20214 that is compatible with a baby moon hubcap like # AM90086.
If you could provide me with the inner and outer bearing numbers used by your current hubs... view full answer...
My first thought was "150 lbs seems like a pretty low tongue weight capacity". Based on what I can see online though, the 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium AWD does indeed have a towing capacity of 1,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 150 lbs. So while you certainly could use the 22x60 Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier # FHG49ZR, you would only be able to put 125 lbs of gear (or deer) onto the carrier. We have to factor in the weight of the carrier itself which is 25 lbs, leaving you with... view full answer...
The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs, part # CSS-1125R are not intended to lift your 2010 RAV4, but are designed to provide extra support when carrying heavy loads. These are designed to work with a suspension system in good working order. They will not increase the load-carrying capacity of the RAV4.
I would not recommend using the SumoSprings with Firestone air suspension like part # F4174 at the same time since the Firestone system installs in the coil springs and may interfere... view full answer...
