Trailer Hitch Receiver And 4-Way Wiring Harness Compatible With a 2010 Toyota RAV4

Question:

My daughter has the E98864 hitch we bought from you for her 2010 RAV4. We didnt have time to install it before she moved down to SC and would like to get it installed by a professional down there. All the places around Charleston, SC are requesting a mfr and mfr part number before she even brings it in and they said Trailer is not the mfr. What do I tell them? Do you actually manufacture the hitch or are just the retailer? Thanks!

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98864 for your daughters 2010 RAV4 is manufactured for us by Curt. I have linked our installation instructions below that may help when she is talking to the installers.

The receiver will be identical to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149 only with the matte black powder coat versus the gloss black on the Curt receiver.

We have recently added a link to our product pages located below the installation videos of installers that are searchable by zip code. These installers have a relationship with etrailer and will have a better knowledge of our products than other shops.

I do recommend having a 4-way like the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118412 installed when the receiver is installed. This will be needed if she will be towing any small trailers and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if she is using a bike rack or cargo carrier that impairs the view of the tail lights on her RAV4.
