There are several things we will need to know in order to give you a good recommendation. What does the connector look like on the trailer you are planning on towing. From the research I have found that the RAV4 has a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.

If your trailer has a 4-way connector on it, you should be able to just hook the trailer to the new harness on your Toyota.

If your trailer has a wire harness that is different from the 4-way connector you have on your T-One harness, you will need to see what the wires that are on the trailer are for. You can test the wires by hooking up a 12-volt power source and using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993, test each pin on the connector for function. I have attached a couple of helpful articles that explain trailer wiring and how to troubleshoot.

After you have determined what the wire functions are on the trailer, you can let us know what kind of connector you need and whether you wish to add the connector on your car to match your trailer, or if you wish to change the connector on your trailer to match your vehicle.
