Manufacturers do not list the wheel sizes they use on their trailers so the only way to know for certain is to measure the bolt pattern and pilot hole. Below I've attached our printable bolt pattern template as well as our help article on measuring the bolt pattern incase you don't have access to a printer.
If you did have a 15" x 5 on 4-1/2 wheel with a 3.19" pilot hole you would be able to use the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range... view full answer...
When installing the LED Trailer Tail Light with License Plate Bracket part # 328-003-81LBM1 with a load resistor like the Putco LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit part # DI34ZR, the load resistor will not get installed inside the actual light assembly. The load resistor just needs to be inline with the signal wire so a few inches behind the taillight will be just fine. Furthermore, the load resistors do get hot so they will need to be mounted in an area clear of any obstructions. view full answer...
The B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400 should not be loosening as you state and it does sound like you have either a stripped bolt because it tightens to an extent and then loosens but will allow you to tighten again to that same point.
I've attached the installation details that state it should be torqued to 80 foot lbs for use. This bolt draws the hitch firmly into the bed of the truck ensuring the underbed connection... view full answer...
I have not personally heard of such a thing but I can imagine it being an area of concern. The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX measures 5-1/4" total forward from the mounting flange. With that information you should able to determine if your tailgate will open or not.
I have attached a picture for you to check out with this measurement along with a couple others. view full answer...
The only way to reduce the force needed to get the bars engaged on weight distribution systems like the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control part # FA94-00-1000 is to reduce the amount of pitch you have set into the weight distribution system or to use the jack to lift the trailer and truck combination higher.
Of the two options the second is the way to go. Of course you need to chock the wheels on the truck and trailer as you would anyway to be safe but overall this... view full answer...
We have heard of people using spacer blocks to raise the height of their trailer along with the over-under conversion kit you referenced or the Tandem Axle Lift Kit # RR23QX and everything seemed to work okay so I would say you can use it to raise the height of your 2013 Keystone Cougar 27RKS but it isn't the best or recommended option.
The best option would be to use tall hangers to make up the difference. This means that you wouldn't be using longer U-Bolts that may not have been rated... view full answer...
I spoke to Command Electronics and they indicated that the LED board is most likely going bad if you are getting a strobe effect with the LED RV Interior Light with Switch part # 328-K-1030WSM2. Unfortunately, the LED board is not replaceable so you would need to replace the entire light. In order to remove the lens you would want to take a butterknife and use it to pry between the outer edge of the lens and trim piece. You will then have access to the mounting screws needed to remove it... view full answer...
An engine warmup delay is programmed into the remote start cycle. After the generator is running, there will be a delay of electrical output for 15 seconds. A delay also occurs after pushing STOP on the remote, so the electric load is automatically disconnected when using the remote.
This prevents the low voltage situation you mentioned. view full answer...
I've looked at both the # LC141111 and the # LC177094 and it doesn't appear that these parts are compatible since there are no ports to install those cartridge valves into. I confirmed this with Lippert, and from the sounds of what you're explaining, it would seem to me that one of the rams on the slideouts is causing this issue. Without the motor and pump being turned on and engaged, the slideouts will not move unless one of the cylinders in the rams is leaking fluid; they would hold everything... view full answer...

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K will install in a standard 14" x 14" opening in your 2013 Keystone Cougar, and you can get power to the vent simply by running the black wire (the power wire) to the 12V power supply, as you can see in the accompanying cutout of the linked installation directions I added for you. If you need additional wire you can use 16 gauge wire # DW02359-1.
This vent does come with all the necessary hardware for installation though you are going to need... view full answer...
The Solera Replacement Awning Fabric for 16' Roller Assemblies - Blue Fade # LCV000334402 actually slides into the channels of the metal roller assembly. I have added a photo from the installation video I linked for you as an example of the channel. I strongly recommend watching the installation video, and the actual assembly of the fabric onto the rollers begins at about the 2:30 mark.
I have also added a link to our entire selection of replacement fabric for you to take a look at. view full answer...

For the Curt Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC176440, Curt recommends to reuse the old hardware that was removed from the original pin box, unless they are damaged or unusable.
The torque spec is dictated by the type of bolt that is used along with the type of metal it is made of. For example, if you have 1/2"-13 grade 5 zinc plated bolts, then the proper torque spec is, 65 ft-lbs.
I have attached a chart that expands upon this, provided by Curt. view full answer...
The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors part # BB2717 are not threaded, they instead offer press-in installation. There are Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors available which are threaded but not for a 2.717" bore. Scissor Jacks like the Leveling Scissor Jack - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs # JSC-24-IND should be mounted at 90 degrees from the trailer frame rail. This allows you to have full crank handle movement of the Crank Handle for Stromberg Carlson Scissor Jacks and Tongue Jacks # JCH-1. The Ultra-Fab Speed Socket Power Drill Adapter for Scissor Jacks # UF48-979005 is and alternative option. view full answer...
That is a good question and yes, even if your 2017 Keystone Avalanche is not pre-wired for a backup camera system, you can absolutely still install the Furrion backup camera:
- Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - 4.3" Screen # FOS43TASF
I have added a link below to the manual for the Vision S # FOS43TASF, and you would simply need to wire the camera to a 12 volt power source and then either the running lights to have an observation camera, or the reverse... view full answer...
Ideally the gooseneck hitch ball gets centered right above the rear truck axle or sometimes up to a couple inches forward from that point. This puts the pin weight of the gooseneck trailer squarely on the rear suspension and doesn't allow it to unweight the front axle of the truck at all. view full answer...
