Can Furrion Vision S Backup Camera FOS43TASF be Installed on 2017 Keystone Avalanche

Question:

I just bought a used 2017 Keystone Avalanche 300RE. Im thinking of putting a backup camera on this. I dont know if its prewired or not as a lot of the information stickers and what not were removed I assume by previous owner. The unit was traded in and they didnt know. If it was not prewired what needs to be done to install or can one be installed?

That is a good question and yes, even if your 2017 Keystone Avalanche is not pre-wired for a backup camera system, you can absolutely still install the Furrion backup camera:

I have added a link below to the manual for the Vision S # FOS43TASF, and you would simply need to wire the camera to a 12 volt power source and then either the running lights to have an observation camera, or the reverse lights for a backup camera.

However, based on my research, it does look like the 2017 Keystone Avalanche was prepped for the Furrion observation camera, so the wiring should already be there so you'd just need to splice two wires and you'd be set.
