When installing AirLift 1000 system # AL60748 you will need to cut off the bottom 2 sections of the factory bump stops on your 2004 Chevy Venture. There would not be enough room otherwise. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view as well. view full answer...
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2004 Venture with the straight bumper is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 36361.
This is a Class ll trailer hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. For a drawbar I recommend part # 36061. This is a non-step trailer hitch.
For a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19258 and for a 1-17/8 inch ball you can use part # 19257. view full answer...
I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your T-connector, item # C55355. Most customers assume that the plug is directly behind the drivers side panel in the rear. But the plug is usually behind the air conditioning unit that is directly behind the panel the air conditioning unit will have to be pulled away to access the plug. I hope this helps. As a first step, you'll want to consult your owners manual to ensure you're not exceeding the towing or cargo capacity of your van.
When choosing a transmission cooler, you'll usually want to choose the largest cooler that will fit in the space available (unless you live in a very cold climate.) The ideal spot to mount a cooler is directly behind the grille, in front of the radiator and a/c condenser. The # D13503 is a bit larger, and if you have the room to accommodate it's 11x8-3/4x7/8... view full answer...
The Rampage # RA39923 center console you'd looked at is specifically designed for minivans, but it isn't a vehicle specific item so Rampage doesn't list specific vehicle fits. If you have have a 9 inch wide, 29 inch long space available between your seats, there's no reason why it wouldn't work well for you.
I've linked to a demonstration video and a video showing a typical install. view full answer...
You can add a second axle to your SnoPro Hybrid Snowmobile Trailer but there are a couple of things you will want to keep in mind before proceeding.
Adding a second axle will definitely help with distributing your load better but it won't actually increase the overall weight capacity of the trailer. This is simply because a trailer will always be limited by its weakest link, meaning that even if your axle capacity might increase, the trailer frame itself is likely still rated for less... view full answer...
The best way to determine the replacement bearing, race and seal parts needed for a trailer is to pull one of the hubs and remove them so their part numbers can be noted. Usually bearings and seals will have part numbers stamped or molded into them, as you can see in the linked image.
You can search our site using those part numbers to see if we offer them. You can also measure the spindles on the trailer's axle at the points B, C and D noted in the image using a precision caliper like... view full answer...
As long as you have the clearance needed to fit a tire that's slightly taller and wider than what you currently have a 5.30-12 would work well. Your current tire size is 20.5 inches in diameter and the 5.30-12 is 21.9 inches in diameter. So this would eat up about 3/4 of an inch of your current fender clearance. Assuming that's not an issue the # AM30780 would work fine since the bolt pattern matches. view full answer...

The Curt trailer wiring harness part # C55355 is a confirmed fit for your 2002 Chevy Venture whether it would have the towing package or not. The connector you used to plug this kit into should be active either way. It sounds like you may have a blown fuse or relay under the hood of your van which is causing the power not to be present. view full answer...
As long as your roof has the room for two of these Advantage Cargo Bags, part # HE3021, and your roof has the carrying capacity to hold the two bags with luggage in them then you should be able to put two of these bags on the roof rack of your Venture.
The measurements of this bag are 38 inches long, 38 inches wide, 15 inches tall. If your rack is longer than 76 inches from front to back you could probably fit two bags, one behind the other, on the roof of your Venture. view full answer...
In order to determine if the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, # C18115, will fit your 2005 Chevy Venture, you will need to measure the thickness of the crossbars. If they are less than 3 inches thick, the basket will fit, provided the crossbar spread, center to center, is at least 15 inches. For the lighter duty trailers like what you have we have Timbren kits like the part # TTRA1702 which will help to stabilize the trailer when towing and level the trailer while absorbing some of the road shock. This will allow the trailer to track better and reduce some sway.
We don't have shock kits for the lighter duty trailers at this time though. view full answer...
Yes, after installing # ETBC7 you will have constant power on that circuit. The easiest solution is to just unplug the trailer from the vehicle. Having power at the connector without it going anywhere will not drain the vehicle battery.
If you don't want to unplug the trailer every time you can easily add a battery isolator like # PK5231201. On the power wire, instead of running from the BAT post on the circuit breaker to the battery, you will run it to the output side of the isolator.... view full answer...
Since the trailer lights are working when connected to the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, it sounds as though the converter that is in your 2004 Chevy Venture trailer wiring harness might be damaged.
You will need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and check the wire for the right turn signal that is going into the converter box. If it has power going into the box, then you will need to check the wire for the right turn signal coming out of the converter box.
If there is no power... view full answer...
According to your owners manual, your 1999 Chevy Venture needs to have the transaxle in Neutral, the parking brake released, the ignition key in OFF position and steering wheel clamped in straight ahead position , with a clamping device designed for towing service. Do not use the vehicle's steering column lock for this. (page 5-9 of Owner's Manual)
For that clamp, I recommend the Pedal to Wheel Vehicle Lock by Club # WICL303RED. view full answer...
For your 1999 Chevy Venture we have the Roadmaster base plate kit part # 191-1 which is a confirmed fit and would work well with the Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar part # RM-020 that you referenced as well.
For safety cables you can use # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to... view full answer...
To wire the 12 Volt accessory circuit on your 7-Way trailer connector, you should use wire no smaller than 12 gauge, although 10 gauge would be best. We offer the wire you need, the part # is 10-1-1, which is sold by the foot. I would recommend protecting that circuit with a 40 amp auto-reset inline circuit breaker, part # 9510. To wire the circuit, get a piece of the 10 gauge wire that will be long enough to reach the battery from the trailer connector on the rear of the vehicle. Attach... view full answer...
