Troubleshoot Trailer Wiring Lights Not Active Installed Curt T-Conenc # C55355 on 2002 Chevy Venture
Question:
I bought the Curt V55355for my van. Found where it plugs in with no problem but it will not work there doesnt seem to be any power to the plug. The trailer lights work with other vehicles that are set up with the plug in. There is only the one plug I am wondering if the fact it wasnt a model that had a tow package is making a difference or is there something I am missing. I really would rather not have to hard wire into my lights if at all possible. Your video was awesome at showing where to find the plug. Thanks for any advice you may have.

The Curt trailer wiring harness part # C55355 is a confirmed fit for your 2002 Chevy Venture whether it would have the towing package or not. The connector you used to plug this kit into should be active either way. It sounds like you may have a blown fuse or relay under the hood of your van which is causing the power not to be present.
