  • Recommended Portable Solar Panel System For Charging An AGM Battery
  • There are portable solar panel system available that will allow for exactly what you're wanting to do. The only thing you'll need to know is just how much power you're needing to replenish with the system in a day. The Go Power Eco Solar Charging System - 10 Watt Solar Panel # 34273836 you were looking at has to be mounted to something because it doesn't come with a stand and is only a 10 watt panel, so you'll only replenish approximately 3.42 amp hours a day in peak conditions. The Go...

  • 2007 Gulfstream Vista Cruiser Freightliner Sprinter Chassis Sway Bar and Suspension Enhancement
  • For your 2006 Freightliner Sprinter Chassis I recommend the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Item # RM-1209-132 which will minimize side-to-side movement to improve overall stability of your vehicle and diminish effects of crosswinds, passing motorists and shifting cargo. I also recommend adding Sumo Springs Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle Item # SSR-329-47 to help with the stability in the rear of your vehicle and help prevent you from bottoming out. I've attached some videos that...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2002 Freightliner Sprinter
  • The first generation of the Freightliner Sprinter in the U.S. covered years 1995 through 2006. We do show a hitch fit for the 2003 but not for the 2002, as you noted. It is possible that the Draw-Tite hitch # 75210 will fit but my contact there could not confirm this absolutely since they have not had one in for test fit. We do offer multi-fit RV hitches that feature adjustable brackets. You can see these on the linked page. These frame-mount hitches vary in their tongue weight (TW) and...

  • Suspension Enhancement for 2014 Freightliner Sprinter Bluetec 2500
  • The SumoSprings kit part # SSR-338-54 that you referenced would do a great job removing the sag of your 2014 Freightliner Sprinter BlueTec 2500 when loaded. Installation is pretty easy too so you'd have no problem with that.

  • Class V Trailer Hitch for 2015 Forest River SR340 Diesel Pusher Motor Home
  • We do not offer a custom-fit Class V hitch for your 2015 Forest River SR340 diesel pusher motor home but we do have universal-fit hitches that can work for you. Installation will just be a bit more involved than for a bolt-on hitch. For example, Curt offers their weld-on 2-inch Class V hitch # 15903 rated for up to 1500-lbs tongue weight and 15,000-lbs gross trailer weight. We also offer Curt hitch # 15902 for frames between 18-and 44-inches wide that offers about 10-inches of drop. Curt...

  • Parts Needed to Install a 7-Way and Brake Controller in a 2002 freightliner Sprinter
  • First you will need to start with a 4-way. For that you would want the part # C59496. See installation instructions and install video I attached. That will give you a 4-way that you can then convert into a 7-way. For everything needed to convert your 4-way to a 7-way and install your brake controller you would need the part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out for this as well.

  • Brake Controller Recommendation and Install on a 2008 Freightliner Sprinter
  • We don't have a custom harness available for installing a Tekonsha P3 part # 90195 to the connector on your 2008 Freighliner. That would be something you would need to get from Freightliner, or you could just remove the green plug and hardwire the controller to it assuming it is the brake controller install port. You would need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to determine the functions of the wires and then connect the controller to them as needed. The red wire of controller...

  • Backup Alert for a 2010 Freightliner Sprinter 2500
  • I did a little research and your 2010 Frieghtliner Sprinter 2500 uses a 7506 reverse light bulb. We do not have a bulb replacement with backup alert for the 7506 bulb but I do have a solution for you. Take a look at Surface Mount Back-up Alarm # BK97DB. You can mount this guy under the vehicle and wire it into a reverse light circuit. It will be louder at 97 decibels and more effective compared to the replacement bulb type. I have included a link to a video showing an installation for you.

  • Charging Two 6 Volt Batteries in a Series to Create a 12 Volt
  • Charging two 6 volt batteries by your alternator through your starter via a Blue Seas switch isn't going to work because 6 volt systems are not as common anymore. Blue Seas currently only offers 12 and 24 Volt switches. Actually, your best option and what I recommend is the OptiMate 1 Smart Battery Charger - AC to DC - 6V/12V - 0.6 Amp # MA82WR. It's a pulse maintenance system to charge 6 Volt batteries. You wouldn't be able to charge the batteries while driving because these chargers...

  • Can a RV with Air Brakes Have an Electric Brake Controller Installed
  • That's actually what we recommend the most for people towing trailers with electric brakes that have tow vehicles with air brakes. Installing a P2 part # 90885 will allow you to totally bypass having to interface with the air system and will work very well. Hardwiring a brake controller isn't too difficult. It basically is just a matter of running a few wires. One to the positive post of the battery, one to the ground, one to the trailer connector, and then one to the stoplight circuit. I...

  • Benefits of Installing Sumo Springs # SSR-338-47 on Motorhome on 2013 Sprinter Cab Chassis
  • Although the Sumo Springs # SSR-338-47 can help reduce body roll when the vehicle is under load, the primary benefit is to provide additional support to the rear suspension, and therefore help keep the vehicle level, prevent the rear of the vehicle from sagging and to keep the vehicle from bottoming out when under load. The springs will progressively adjust, as more weight is added, the springs become more stiff. The Sumo Spring is meant to replace the factory bump stop, and the manufacturer...

  • Brake Controller Recommendations for Allegro Red Motorhome
  • A proportional controller is an excellent choice for safe, predictable braking. If you've never used a controller before, I'd recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, part # 90195. The display and controls are very user-friendly and the controller is very highly rated by our customers. The Prodigy P2, part # 90885 is also a good option, still highly rated and easy to use, but the display isn't quite as user friendly as the P3. Any faults in the trailer brake system are displayed as error codes,...

  • What Size Pipes is the Bully Slant Resonated Bolt-on Exhaust Tip Designed to Fit
  • As long as the exhaust pipe of your vehicle is between 1-3/4 to 2-1/2 inches in diameter the part # PM-5104 would fit. If anything it will make the tone of your exhaust slightly mellower or quieter. We had a guy with exhaust drone problems on his vehicle use these and it cleared up the drone he had.

  • Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2006 Fleetwood Class A Ford F-53 Motorhome
  • According to Fleetwood, the factory port or plug for a brake controller on the Ford F-53 chassis is coiled underneath the dash. Look for a 5 pin gray connector. I believe if you look in the center console area (right of the steering column) and up under the dash it will be there. The correct brake controller harness you would need is the part # 3034-P. Nearly all brake controllers would work, there is nothing about your vehicle that would prevent a brake controller from being installed....

  • How to Wire in a Brake Controller in a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor
  • The brake wire you need is terminated in a connector under the left side control panel next to the driver seat of your 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor. There should be a cover on the vertical side of the panel facing the driver seat and the connector will be behind it. There should be a 12 volt power wire (run black wire here), a ground wire (white wire), a brake switch wire (red wire) and a brake output circuit (blue wire) there. I attached an FAQ on brake controller installs for you to...
