There is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern, but I'm not familiar with a 5 on 4-1/4. If the center to center distance between two adjacent holes is 2-5/8 inches, you have a 5 on 4-1/2.

In the past it was never recommended to use electric brakes on a boat trailer because electricity and water do not work well together, but more and more people and boat trailer companies are switching. We still recommend disconnecting the trailer wiring from the tow vehicle before backing the boat trailer into water.
You will need to remove your brake lines and then install wiring for the brakes. You will want to make sure you seal all electrical connections to keep moisture out.

I went to the warehouse and checked out the Redline 5/8-inch Grade 5 Bolt, part # 9093.
The bolt is indeed black in color. This bolt is 4-1/2 inches long.
