The Yakima Outpost # Y01151-5855 does not need any adapters to install and the side bar # Y01153 will adjust to fit whatever length you decide to go with.
If you're in the market for a tonneau cover as well, you can get the RetraxPRO # RTT-80374 and this version of the outpost # Y01151-5855 and you can use them both! view full answer...
You do not have to bolt and unbolt the drawbar every time. The tow bar disconnects from your truck but you can leave it installed on your motorhome when you are not towing your 2017 Ford F-150. You may want to consider a locking hitch pin to deter theft of your tow bar. I recommend the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Flush - 3-5/8" Span - Chrome # e98881.
We do need to verify your F-150 can be flat-towed, if it is a 4-wheel drive it can be flat-towed. If it is... view full answer...
No you won't. Simply plug the # TK90160 Tekonsha Primus into the # 22292 brake control wiring harness then plug the harness into the factory connector clipped to the rear of the small pocket in the dash just right of the steering column. I've linked to an install video showing how to access that. The video shows a different brake controller being installed, but the procedure would be the same.
Since the vehicle does NOT have the factory controller, you won't need to have anything reprogrammed.... view full answer...
The easiest way to figure this out is going to be by pulling off your current switch. The RV LED Light Side-Slide Dimmer Switch # 37205-12315 has a 3 wire install, the back of the switch shows which wire gets wired to where. The 3-way SW-IP you are seeing is where you would wire from one switch to the switch on the other side of the room to create the 3-way switch. This may or may not be needed when using the InCommand touch panel. The easiest way to tell is by using your current switch... view full answer...

Yes, you can indeed load one 60 pound e-bike onto the Surco 2 Bike Ladder Mount Carrier # SP501BR.
I spoke with my contact at Surco and he said as long as you stay under the carrier's overall weight capacity of 75 pounds you are good to go. You will just want to be sure to use the innermost cradles for your e-bike.
This carrier does not have a specific speed rating but is built to work without issue at legal highway speeds. view full answer...
Where the Longview Towing Mirrors part # LVT-2300-C will contact the painted surface of your 2015 Ford F-150 there are soft pads to prevent scratching.
These will fit your mirrors just fine and would not leave scratches as long as you keep the mirrors clean. view full answer...
The front-mount hitch you referenced, Curt # 31038, is a correct fit for your 2003 Ford F-150 4 x 4 with factory tow hooks. You will use the original hardware that secures the tow hooks in place, along with the two supplied carriage bolts that come with the hitch, to install it on the Ford's frame.
The written installation instructions are linked for your reference; these will show how the existing and supplied hardware are used together to mount the hitch. view full answer...
It is strange that the Draw-Tite brake controller has 5 wires instead of 4. White should be the ground. Red is the input from the brake switch. Blue is out put to the trailer brakes. And my best guess is that orange is the power wire. You would need to use a circuit tester like # 3808 to test the wires on the truck side to be sure. Brake controller wiring is normally black, white, red, and blue.
The other option is to use # 22292 to plug into the truck if you have an F-150 or # 3034-P... view full answer...
If you think of the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # TSR7000T04 as a triangle then it makes a little more sense. A triangle is a strong structure. The weight is applied equally out to the legs at the bottom. Now if the single attachment point was as narrow as the point of a triangle then that would be an issue. But in this case the "point" is almost a foot long (making it more like a trapezoid than a triangle) allowing the frame to handle the weight.
But since you do not have a boxed frame... view full answer...
The brown wire is not needed. Simply tape the end with electrical tape and tuck it up out of the way. If the factory harness has a pink wire on it, make sure it connects with the black wire on the controller. The rest of the wires match up color for color. If the harness has a green wire, the green harness wire would connect with the red wire on the controller, the red harness wire would connect to the black brake controller wire, and the rest would match up color for color. view full answer...

Technically, installing a brake controller on a 2012 Ford F-150 with a 4-Way is a hardwire installation. But you may not have to do a complete hardwire install. If you follow your 4-Way flat wiring harness back, it should plug into another connector. This forward connector has more wires going into it than coming out. Pull back the covering to get to the wires and use a circuit tester, like # 3808 if needed, to test them. There should be a wire with 12 volt power and a another that would... view full answer...
You will need to order the Gutterless Mount Kit, # CARR220062, to install the Carr M-Profile Light Bar, # CARR210701, on your 2009 Ford F-150 Lariat. Your truck does not have rain gutters on the sides of the doors or roof for the light bar to mount to.
To install the Gutterless Mount Kit, you will place the bracket under the topside of the door jamb. You can choose the location you like best to mount the brackets. If the weather seal is in the way, it can be pulled back and the bracket... view full answer...

The Air Lift SlamAir Helper Springs, # AL59210, are not designed to raise the rear of a truck. The purpose of the SlamAir springs is to enhance your existing rear suspension. Air springs are also typically used to reduce the amount of sag when towing or hauling heavy loads. Vehicles that have been lowered typically have weaker suspension and because of that they can bottom out on bumps or with loads in the back of the truck.
While these springs will not raise the height of your F-150,... view full answer...

On the 2014 Ford F-150, the cold side brake stop lamp switch circuit is carried by a purple/white wire. You'll want to confirm this by using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. You'll want to tap the red trigger wire from the brake controller into the brake switch wire that ONLY shows voltage when the brake pedal is pressed. view full answer...
