Is There an Installation Video Available for Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-524431-4
Question:
Where is the installation video for this part? I have a roadmaster falcon2. Do I have to bolt and unbolt the drawbar every time I use it?

You do not have to bolt and unbolt the drawbar every time. The tow bar disconnects from your truck but you can leave it installed on your motorhome when you are not towing your 2017 Ford F-150. You may want to consider a locking hitch pin to deter theft of your tow bar. I recommend the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Flush - 3-5/8" Span - Chrome # e98881.
We do need to verify your F-150 can be flat-towed, if it is a 4-wheel drive it can be flat-towed. If it is 2-wheel drive you will not be able to flat-tow it.
We no longer have a video for the installation for # RM-524431-4. I do have a recommendation for another Roadmaster Base Plate Kit and it is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-524431-5 that we do have an installation video for. The # RM-524431-5 is a fit for both your 2017 Ford F-150 and your Roadmaster Falcon 2. One reason I recommend the # RM-524431-5 over the # RM-524431-4 is it connects directly to the tow bar, rather that using a crossbar to connect.
I have attached installation videos for both a 2016 and 2018 Ford F-150.
To tow your 2017 Ford F-150 you will need safety cables, wiring and a supplemental braking system. If you need these items I have some recommendations for you.
For the safety cables and wiring I recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit with Straight Wiring # RM-9243-1. I recommend this because it comes as a kit for everything you need for wiring and the safety cables.
For the supplemental braking system I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700. I recommend this braking system because once you have it installed it stays there, it does not have to be removed after each use.
When using the RM-8700 you will also need to use the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400. It is is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights.
Since you will be flat-towing a pickup you may also need a high-low hitch adapter like the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter - 2" Hitches - 10-1/4" Rise/Drop - 10K GTW, 400 lbs TW # RM-048-10.
