Is the Gutterless Mount Kit Required to Install the Carr M-Profile Light Bar on a 2009 Ford F-150

Question:

I am interested in buying the Carr M-Profile light bar but I am unsure as to whether or not I need the extra gutterless mount. I have a 2009 Ford F150 Lariat. Thank you!

You will need to order the Gutterless Mount Kit, # CARR220062, to install the Carr M-Profile Light Bar, # CARR210701, on your 2009 Ford F-150 Lariat. Your truck does not have rain gutters on the sides of the doors or roof for the light bar to mount to.

To install the Gutterless Mount Kit, you will place the bracket under the topside of the door jamb. You can choose the location you like best to mount the brackets. If the weather seal is in the way, it can be pulled back and the bracket can be mounted behind the weather seal. You will use the bolt holes in the bracket as a template to drill the holes for the bracket screws.
