Stage 4 of CTEK chargers is the absorption phase, this is a slow process on purpose so that the battery gets a diminished charge to top the battery off in the best way possible. This phase helps the battery hold the charge that it has by not overcharging. Both the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885, and the P3, # 90195, can be mounted in a 360 degree vertical range, but the front of the controller must be horizontal and parallel to the direction of travel.

I am including a link to a technical bulletin from Tekonsha that shows how to install a brake controller on your 2009 Porsche Cayenne. The Curt Hitch part # 13220 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit you 2010 Porsche Cayenne and does require fascia trimming. Basically the lower fascia will have to have an opening cut into it so that the hitch can stick through it like in the picture I attached.

Your 2016 Porsche Cayenne has dedicated wires for each function and also has wires that are multi-function. To get everything to work correctly with the Tekonsha ZCI Vehicle Wiring Harness, Item # 119250KIT, you will need to find dedicated wires for each function (tail, brake, turn, etc.). The Swagman Original # S64400 should fit your Cayenne, as long as it's equipped with a 2 inch hitch. To be absolutely sure, measure the distance between the hitch pin hole and the furthest rearward portion of the back bumper, as outlined in the article I've linked to. If your measurement is less than 14-1/2 inches, the rack will work just fine. The rack includes an anti rattle hitch bolt, but the # 5200 lock and the # e98891 cable lock are sold separately.

For the tubular and semi-tubular rivets like what comes with this kit you would need a rivet clincher tool available at hardware stores and some auto parts stores could have a selection as well.

We get this question a lot so I know where you're coming from. But trailer wiring harness manufacturers design the powered converters such as # 119250KIT so that they draw 12-volt power directly from the vehicle battery for a very good reason. Doing so keeps the vehicle wiring fully isolated from the wiring of the trailer.

In regards to the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part 90250, the remote should indeed read "n.c" after you have set the power knob to greater than minimum. If you reconnect the trailer and the remote then shows ".c." that is a good sign the device is paired properly but in order to check you just need to apply the manual override and see if you get a readout.
