Can Prodigy P2 be Mounted Vertically in 2013 Porsche Cayenne
Question:
I have a 2006 Porsche Cayenne with a Prodigy P2 mounted horizontally in the slot in the dash where the cig lighter and ashtray were. Works well and looks professional. Now Im looking at newer Cayenne diesels but the ashtray is located vertically just forward of the gear shifter. Question is - is there any controller that can be installed vertically i.e. pointing upward? Id pfefer not to mount it under the steering column where it could interfere with my knees. Thanks.

Both the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885, and the P3, # 90195, can be mounted in a 360 degree vertical range, but the front of the controller must be horizontal and parallel to the direction of travel.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Prodigy brake controllers which shows how to mount them, as well as a video review of the brake controllers for you to check out and a picture that shows the controller's mounting range.
