Stage 4 of CTEK chargers is the absorption phase, this is a slow process on purpose so that the battery gets a diminished charge to top the battery off in the best way possible. This phase helps the battery hold the charge that it has by not overcharging. It sounds like yours is most likely operating like normal so maybe give it a day or so and see if charging progresses beyond stage 4. I have a couple CTEK chargers and have noticed the same thing. But once the charge is complete I noticed that my car's starter seemed to crank faster on colder mornings so I could tell the battery was in better shape than before!
